  Beautiful place, great food and superb atmosphere :) thank you

  We have been organising family gettogether after our babys baptism at a local church. We have had our party in Fraternia room which was just perfect for our needs. All our requests have been heard and attention to details was spot on. Nothing got missed along the way as manager Renata K. has a very attentive approach to clients and was constantly in touch with us to make sure all our needs were fullfilled. We couldnt have been happier as all our guests have praised food and deserts as well as the entire setting. BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! We would like to recommend this place- you wont be disappointed. Few pictures of the room with some personalised touches that we have prepared ourselves (balloons, banners, cake toppers).

  Beautiful place

  I stayed there for one night. The place is really beautiful, if you like the old style. The rooms are very basic and is only 3 star. The dinner was good and with the place gives it a small 4 The breakfast was ok, I missed a normally yogurt and not juice from an automat

  a special place

  This hotel was the perfect spot to relax after a day of kayaking on the (also lovely) river. The hotel was surprisingly special, with a medieval church and grounds next to the hotel, which is a converted monastery. The desk staff were friendly, the restaurant was good and all in all it was a great stay.

  Ruminate on your own misdeeds, sinners...

  The hotel is organised in an historical Cistercian monaster. It is simply arranged without tacky decor but it is convenient, atmospheric and provides every comfort, that a guest may expect of the fine hotel. Parking is close to the hotel, breakfast are diverse and fresh. Great place for a family Christmas trip.

  Lack of respect for the guests.

  I have been there on company meeting and stayed for 2 nights in the hotel (5 persons). Rooms: with the view on the monastery internal area, are ok as for 3* hotel. Clean but no AC. Windows in bad shape, very difficult to open (getting stuck), low external noise canceling. Restaurant: medium quality of coffee break (example: you need to ask to get refill or clean / fill the coffee machine) lunch: so, so , dinner: good food a'la carte. SPA: New, fresh and clean area with saunas and swimming pool. very slippery floor, not all pools fully functional (cold water pool was supposed to have 8 degrees water, reality ... over 30 degrees), water massage devices at the side of the main pool dangerous for health due to extraordinary high water pressure (painful) The whole stay has been destroyed by teambuilding parties ending up with discos and sleep-killing loud music till 04:00-05:00 in the internal hotel green area just opposite our windows. No warning has been given about plans for night disco parties prior to the booking. At the arrival, we have got an info that during first day the party is going to be finished latest at 24:00 (ended close to 04:00). During the second day another party was supposed to end also at 24:00 - disco party has ended at around 04:00. There has been no reaction from the reception after the comment at 02:30. She has directed us to the Manager which will be in the morning. At our departure the Manager has been only "Very Sorry" and she "had not expected parties to last so long" Who manages the hotel then ?. ...and I have not expected to sleep 6 hrs total during two nights. The hotel belongs to Best Western Group (Best Western Plus) and I think international standards of quiet hours are known (between 22:00-06:00) In case one knows or expects there will be bigger party (possible in such places) the reservation clerk shall inform about it to give the choice to change the place for the stay or at least provide rooms which are not facing the night event but are potentially far from it and could let other guests to rest during the night (other side of the corridor would be enough). This kind of approach is the lack of respect for the guest and even the best SPA zone ritual would not be pleasant enough to wash the bad mood from 2 sleepless nights.
