  Excellent Weekend

  When you want Value-for-money, this is the place to be! Excellent customer service, very very friendly staff and owners. Ideal place for people and families (like ours) who do not really need all the extravagance but simply the basics but at its best! Pool clean, surroundings well kept. It felt just like you are home. Choosing Blue Pot Resort was the best choice by far for us! Thank you sir pio, mam thelma and lyra! we will come back for sure!

  To Travel is to Live

  My friends who happened to be my co-workers invited me to join their trek to Osmeña Peak. I agreed to join them since I didn't have any plans for the weekend. They asked me to book the place where to stay overnight since I am an Agoda user. I chose Blue Pot Resort since I've visited some resorts in Dalaguete already and I wanted to see the place by myself since the photos shown were great. Last Saturday, we had a workshop in the afternoon so my friends and I decided to travel at around 6 pm. It was not difficult to find their vicinity because people knew the place. We were amazed when we saw their reception area but the excitement turned into disappointment upon hearing that they were fully booked and they didn't receive the confirmation from Agoda. I really complained not because "Customers are always RIGHT" but because I paid and got the booking/confirmation number. I couldn't control my temper already since I didn't know what to do in the first place, where to stay if they won't really allow us and how would I explain things to my companions. After the intense conversation with the owner they then offered us the room since Ma'am Thelma (owner) felt pity on us if we would leave and it's already late at night. She thought that what if it would happen to her daughter. We were greatly thankful for the kind consideration so they guide us the way to our room. They made sure that we feel comfortable. The place is really wide and the exterior is impressive. We stayed in a conference room which was transformed to a big room so the amenities were not that satisfactory. The room was indeed clean but the bathrooms were too small. I guess the place focuses more on catering various events like seminars, weddings or birthdays. I didn't have the chance to stay in other rooms so my review would just purely describe my stay there. We went swimming at night and the pool's light changed every now and then which makes it more appealing. We had our lunch the next day but they don't provide any menu since they prefer that guests order the dishes ahead of time. The boneless bangus tastes good but the chicken pandan was too salty. I guess this resort has a good potential but of course they should focus more on addressing the guests' concerns and improve the quality of their food... Once again thank you for the hospitality that you've shown us but I just need to be more objective with my review.

  Wonderful experience...

  The accommodation was great. We came here to stay for one night for our three-day round south tour during the Holy Week. Accommodating staff and owner, safe environment and a relaxing place. I think it is partly because the business is run by the owner themselves that contributed to more add-on value. Only improvement comment is on lack of appliances inside the room e.g. TV, fridge.

  A home away from home.

  Owners of this family resort would do all they can to make you feel at home. Located about 4km out of the town area transport is necessary to get around but no problem. The ever gracious owner would do his best to ensure you are looked after. Room was clean but taps in the place need to be looked into. Overall a gem in that area.
