    Fantastic place

The hotel was spotless, our room was great with an excellent view of the pool. I read alot of reviews on how bad the food was but i cant fault it, there was loads of choice and also the inclusive drink was spot on. The animation team including jumbo and anna made the holiday they got you involved in all the games and we had a great laugh with them. The nightlife is very quiet but some good restaurants near by too.

    Lovely week in the sun

Just returned from a late booking week at this hotel with Jet2. Good flight, cabin crew worked hard to provide services and were very pleasant despite having to constantly announce to the idiots who thought they could flout the rules and wear masks under their chins, selfish!!!! Were instructed to leave the plane a row at a time and this worked extremely well and should become the norm in the future. Check in at the hotel was fast and efficient....had requested a high floor room but had been given a lower floor room, however, without any problems they changed our room to 4th floor which overlooked the pool and could see the sea. Room was large, bright and clean and all public areas and pool were kept very clean. Never had a problem getting a sun bed, no queuing for dinner or drinks. Every time you enter the dining room you have a temperature check and are given a plastic glove to use when handling utensils and face masks must be worn at all times apart from when you're sitting eating/drinking. Staff were all very efficient, tables cleared quickly and offers of beer/wine/soft drinks brought quickly Food: Breakfast was our least favourite meal, would have been better if there had been a toaster available rather than the 'press' gadget that completely flattened the bread. Lunch and dinner were better, plenty of salad, meat, fish or pasta dish on offer so we never went hungry. Drinks: All local brand drinks which we found to be rather tasteless but bar staff would add more spirit if asked yo be fair. Went out on the bus to Side and the local market. Very strict rules on wearing masks and hand sanitising and police checks on each journey to check compliance...no messing, excellent, we felt safer there than we do in UK. A little tip, pay in Lira on the bus, only 6 lira each rather than 2 euro. In the markets they are happy with euro or sterling, we used sterling and got better deals. All in all we had a great holiday, it was hot, clean, welcomed and felt safe. Unfortunately, on the Thursday evening it was announced that Turkey was to become part of the 14 day quarantine process from 4am on Saturday, so we're now in self isolation argh!!! Don't regret our holiday here though and would definitely return.

    Fantastic holiday

So this was my first holiday in 17 1/2 years and my childrens first ever holiday overseas. Arrived at the hotel temperatures were given, was shown to our room which was a nice big spacious room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, Only down side was we were next to a farm yard and could not see the pool but we could see the sea. Wi-Fi I did have to pay extra to get Wi-fi it cost 20 for 2 weeks which I didnt think this was bad considering I had three teenagers that are constantly wanting to be on the Internet, It did however keep logging you out, however I found this only happened when the kids are trying to log back in, managed to FaceTime home Quite a few times. Food and drink - I didnt mind the food, however my children were very fussy and didnt really like a lot, I think the worst meal I had there was a lunchtime meal and the food was cold, breakfast was okay however It was very repetitive all we ate the whole time was eggs, pancakes and toast, As in previous reviews there was no real toasted just a toaster press, ice cream was great loads of portions and you could have multiple scoops, drinks in the bar were great, staff were really friendly, my teenage daughter enjoyed when she went to the bar the bartender knew what she wanted, I wouldve preferred more cocktails as all they new how to make really was sex on the beach or blue Hawaii, they could do with a cocktail menu. Entertainment - I feel the entertainment staff really made the holiday jumbo and Anna were fantastic always walking around to chat to guests and getting them involved in pool games, We really enjoyed playing killer darts with jumbo he was really good with my two teenage twins who were a little shy at times, I have to say though the evening entertainment was not great but in the current difficult times it was expected We were just grateful to get a holiday overseas. All in all I would return again but dont think jet2 are offering this hotel next year

Bone club sunset hotel and spa

Went for 10 days end of sept/Oct. Only 45 - 50 mins transfer time from airport. The hotel is split into 3 blocks/buildings of rooms. I was in the second building. The restaurant is on the first floor. Hotel has a few bars. A pool bar, lounge bar( in reception, which has a large outside seating balcony area overlooking the pool and entertainment areas) and another bar downstairs as you leave to go into the outside areas of the complex. It has 3 separate pools( a paddling pool, a small pool and the main large pool). The main pool is only 1.4m deep all the way along, so you can stand up in it( ideal for playing ball games, etc) or still deep enough to swim. The room was fully air conditioned, had a fridge in it (bottled water replenished daily) double bed and single bed (bedding changed daily), settee, additional small pillows, mirrors and a balcony, with a small plastic table and 2 chairs (should you wish to smoke or just sit and relax). Balcony also has a mini drying line to put your clothes on (4 rails, I would recommend taking a few pegs to secure your smaller clothes on). Loads of storage space, wardrobe, shelves, 4 separate plug sockets scattered about. Walk in shower in bathroom, hairdryer and again lots of storage space for your toiletries. The restaurant was quite large, seating available both indoors and outside. Food was served throughout the day, also served snacks at the pool bar. Its an international hotel so they had to cater for everyone. ( in other words dont go expecting sausage chips and beans everyday). I found something I liked, girlfriend preferred the salad and cold food buffet, and if you have kids there is the usual chips, and stuff.( they can get rolls from where the soup area is and make chips butties).there is also the snack bar by the entertainment/pool area which has pizza, chips, burgers, chicken strips, onion rings. There is a minibus that takes you to the beach for free, right outside the hotel, and runs every 30 mins(only about a 4 min ride). The beach is great, you get your own area, or freedom to wander off where you want(paragliding, banana boat, jet ski, etc. only a hundred meters away from the Bieno area. Food and drinks served at the beach also, and you get towels(pick up before you leave the hotel). All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Most of the time you dont really need to leave your seat for drinks. There are some shops in the hotel for convenience. There is a clothes shop which a guy called Borak runs, which is cheap for shorts and tops, dresses, etc. A hairdressers and beauty salon (girlfriend had her nails and eyebrows done), leather coat, jewellery shops and an everyday shop. There is also a little doctors surgery. On the ground floor there is the spa and gym facilities. I would recommend a Turkish bath and a massage on your first or second day as you feel all refreshed after. Overall review - my first time to Turkey. It is so cheap, so dont take any clothes(very cheap to buy everywhere). Dont take towels/ beach towels, shower gels, shampoo, hairdryer(as they are provided at the hotel). The rooms are very spacious and the hotel and staff are brilliant, always very helpful and cheerful. The entertainment team work throughout the day and eve with various activities for children and adults. You can get a bus from near the hotel (50 yards away) to the main markets or to Side town center( about 20 mins drive max and only a couple of euros). There is also a large indoor market and a few pubs near the bus stop if you wanted to stay local. I would definitely stay here again as the staff were very friendly and helpful (I am a stickler for good manners as I know how rudeness could spoil your holiday). Its hard to find anything negative to say as I felt I was treated very well, and my girlfriend said the same.
