  A piece of paradise

  Such a charming cottage in a truly beautiful private setting. The little touches included were very thoughtful and what an amazing breakfast basket. Walking distance to lovely gardens and the shops make it an ideal location as well, off the main road makes it nice and quiet.

  2 cottages - weekend away with friends

  We stayed at the Kookaburra cottage and our friends stayed at the Currawong cottage for 2 nights. Both cottages are very warm, comfortable and have all the little extras that you expect and delighted to find such as DVDs, candles, board games and a welcome drink of port if you like. The Currawong cottage is on one level. The kookaburra cottage has the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. This was fine for us but would be an issue for others as it is a steep staircase and if you are tall you might need to watch your head also. The bedroom has no where to hang anything, but there is a cupboard downstairs. Personal the bed was a bit hard for me also. I didnt see the owner as a note was left at reception for our arrival and she wasnt home when we dropped the key back, which is completely fine with me. Very private spot, close enough to walk between the two cottages to have a wine or two with our friends in the next cottage but also allowed us all to have some privacy as well. Wi-fi is terrible but we were ok with that

  Just perfect

  Beautiful cottage in a really nice area close to shops. Had all the amenities that we could ask for (wonderful breakfast, games, DVDs, recommendations for things to do in the area). The staff were lovely and we had an amazing time. We cant wait to come back!

  Peaceful and romantic

  We stayed in the loft cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The spa was amazing and the candles around the house made for a romantic night. The host was lovely. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make dinner & breakfast. Would definatetly stay again!! 10/10

  Beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere.

  We stayed just one night at Cambridge cottages. It was a couple night away and wow we were not disappointed. They cottage was beautiful, very clean and all little touches help make our stay special... Chocolate, sherry, DVDs, magazines and a generous supply for breakfast. The cottage is amongst the trees and very private. We can't wait to return!
