  Quiet and Comfortable

  The good: We were in room 227 on the second floor. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and there were No bugs or evidence of bugs. Free breakfast is included (scrambled (powdered) eggs, sausage links, make your own waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, danish, bread/toast, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate pkgs. The hotel is in a good location and the parking lot is big. There is a pool and maybe a hot tub, but we didn't use them so I cannot review that area. There is a restaurant in the lobby that on a sign said it was open for dinner hours, but we did not eat there or look to see if it was open. The not so good: The hotel is older and showing signs of wear. While our room was clean, the mini fridge was not and the carpet had some sticky spots on it. The breakfast area could be better attended to. The elevator and hall reeked of marijuana both nights we were there.

  I am writing off michigan

  I literally can't stay in Michigan anymore.. I'm asking for a new region to service. Hotels all smell like weed. This one no different.. what are you supposed to do? Call in advance? I'm literally asking for a new territory to avoid smelling this garbage .

  Comfortable

  Nice location. Convenient. Nice price. Room is spacious and clean. Nice staff. Have stayed here several times now. Yes there are nicer, more expensive places nearby but this place is well worth the money.

  Beware Bedbugs

  My husband was staying for work at this location room 225 Monday, October 5,2020 and when he woke up on Tuesday morning he had 18 bedbugs on his stomach, face, arms and hands. They were so bad that he had to go to a clinic to get steroids and was diagnosed with Bed bug bites. Called the hotel immediately and they denied having bedbugs. He he stopped in again on his way back through to talk to the Manager to be told again they dont have bedbugs. As he was leaving they had an exterminator spraying. BEWARE

  Unusable Wifi, phone didn't work, and shower/tub drain didn't work

  This was the first and last time I will stay at this hotel. Entering the parking lot, the lobby, and the room, everything looked fine. The first negative experience was a very slow and sporadic WiFi. When I went to call the front desk, I found out the phone in the room was dead. I had to call the front desk using my cellular phone on their outside line. When taking a shower, the drain control was inoperable. The drain seemed to be stuck in a slightly open position. The water built up during a shower, and would drain while taking a bath. I stayed two nights in November 2020. I wanted to leave feedback on their web site, but they will only allow you to do it "if" they ask you to do a survey after your stay. Today about 72 hours after staying there, I received a thankyou E-mail for staying, but no ability to enter feedback. The price was good, the room and hotel looked good, but I will never stay there again.
