  12 días maravillosos

  Hemos pasado 12 días en un apartamento,con unas vistas maravillosas a la marina,con una atención de la chica de recepción especial,nos enseño el apartamento y si no nos gustaba nos enseñaba mas,se nos fue la luz y movilizo a electricistas,a la compañía de la luz,para no tener que movernos de apartamento y en 2 horas todo resuelto con cambio de cuadro de luz,muchas gracias por toda la amabilidad y siempre intentaremos volver,tienen aparcamiento privado y gratuito,un saludo y a las señoras de la limpieza darles mis felicitaciones ,todo perfecto.

  Superb traditional apartment

  Just returned from vilamoura and have to say was very impressed with both the super helpful lady who greeted me after hours and showed me my apartment and the clean and tidy apartment itself. I traveled with friends who opted for the Luna opposite but all were frequent visitors to my apartment due to the size and view from the balcony

  Dont be fooled by the photograph!

  The main photograph for this property shows the huge block across the street from these apartments. This was really confusing at 11.30pm particularly when the transfer driver hasnt a clue where the accommodation is! The apartments are actually in a two storey block overlooking the marina, not in the hotel in the picture which is about 13 storeys tall. We stopped some locals for help, but they had no idea where the apartments where either. 35 stressful minutes later a man showed up to check us in via an estate agents around the corner! They blamed our tour operator Teletext holidays for the mixup. Poor service indeed.

  excellent apartments

  Very clean, right on marina front and inexpensive out of season. Weather in October was still warm enough to spend days on beach but needed a jumper/jacket on evenings. all bars/restaurants open and as out of season the staff had time to chat and recommend local dishes from menu.

  Avoid at all cost

  Booked into these apartments for a weeks last minute holiday we were met in local estate agents by a very friendly lady who gave us the keys and a map. Once we found the apartment we had to climb 40 stairs to reach our apartment the communal stairs were grubby to say the least. Our accommodation was clean but so very dated it didn't look it. The fridge door was hung the wrong way so you couldn't get anything into it. The kitchen window slats were broken so a howl came through it all night. The place was like something from the fifties and not like the pictures. By the way the photo of the front of the accommodation is of a hotel across the road.

  Very satisfied.

  My wife and I are just back from a 9 day stay at these apartments and would recommend them. The location is fantastic you are only a few steps from the marina with an array of restaurants and bars. Check in was made so easy by the lady at the property office who took us to our apartment and showed us everything. Very clean with a lovely view of the marina from the balcony and everything supplied for a self catering holiday...even though we ate out all the time. Only fault for us was there is no lift and our apartment was on the 2nd floor and you had to climb 38 steps to the front door. Very satisfied and would give it 8 out of 10.

  Apartamento terrível, funcionária mal educada / Terrible apartment, rude employee

  Chegámos ao apartamento e verificámos que todas as toalhas estavam sujas. Para além disso deixaram 2 toalhas sendo nós 3. Ligámos para a receção e surge a funcionária, que com toda a sua má educação insinua termos sido nós a roubar as toalhas! Para além disso as condições do apartamento eram terríveis, tomadas soltas, autoclismo partido, lavatório da cozinha todo sujo..recomendo que se mantenham afastados deste apartamento! We arrived at the apartment and found that all towels were dirty. In addition, they left 2 towels, and there were 3 of us. We called the reception and the employee appeared and with all her bad manners insinuated that we were the ones who stole the towels! In addition, the conditions of the apartment were terrible, loose plugs, broken toilet, dirty kitchen sink.. I recommend that you stay away from this apartment!

  Left 2 days early it was that bad

  Booked via Hotels.com based on pictures and reviews, what we didn't know was that the pictures are a mix of a number of apartments! We expected a marina view, what we got was a view of the Tivoli Car park. THEN IT GOT WORSE! The stair bannister was loose and wobbled, in the kitchen there was 1 socket for the kettle, toaster and microwave, admittedly once we complained we were given an extention lead. When you used the washing machine it danced out into the kitchen and water came up in the floor! When you used the toilet is was either side saddle or sumo squat!!, There's no wifi, but it isn't listed but today you expect it, it's a reflection of the 1980s!, The dining table was a worn piece of garden furniture!! The chairs weren't tightly constructed. The bed creaks like a ghost house!!! We were booked for 4 nights, complained, they offered us a other apartment but by then we had booked another 1 ourselves, wasted 120, wouldn't refund, not even the tourist tax. We've stayed all over the world, yes we're older but this was 1 of the worst experiences. To be fair it was fairly clean apart from the stains on the sofa, and the joint falling apart.

  Great apartment in a great location

  Having visited before we had asked for the same room during the booking process and were delighted to find this request had been met. The studio apartment we stayed in was large and very comfortable. With a large sleeping recess and a separate dressing room, the main area of sitting and dining area is also very large. The studio has two balconies both large and receives the sun on one of them either morning or afternoon. The balcony overlooking the marina is particularly large and great for eating breakfast or sunbathing in the afternoon. The TV complete with NOS streaming service has a few English speaking channels allowing us to keep up with current events back home. The bathroom is fully equipped and has a good shower with excellent pressure. The kitchen is well stocked with fridge freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, gas hob and washing machine. Plenty of plates, glasses, pots pans and cutlery are there too. The staff are very helpful and appear to be very busy with managing properties all over the resort. As such, the Marina Plaza office isnt always staffed but the office on the other side of the park on Avenida Tivoli is open all day. Great location, lovely apartment will definitely be back.
