  En mi visita de Amarillo desde Mexico , pude compartir una de mis mejores experiencias al hospedarme en courtyard downtown!! Tuve atencion de primera tanto como la gente de front desk , como la gente de servicio , gente amable y Lugar acojedor y limpio , una de mis mejores experiencias fue en el bistro, gente Alegre y servicial .. volvere muy pronto gracias Courtyard Amarillo downtown!!

  Maravilloso Hotel!

  El hotel esta maravilloso, super limpio y Los empliados son muy generosos y amigables. Esta localizado en el corazon de la ciudad con muchos restaurantes a cuales ir y tienen su propio restaurante tambien. A mi y I'm familia les encanto ojala que cuando volvamos a Amarillo nos puedanos quedar aqui tambien.

  Not sure I would recommend this location to anybody any time in the near future

  First of all I only stayed at this location because a business relation had suggested that and that was where he was playing to stay when we were meeting up with him there. Of course all of our group likes to drink and after we checked in we found out that the Bristo / restaurant / bar was not open while we were there because of covid, however the Marriott website does not tell you this. Also found out that there little Starbucks Coffee area is only open on Wednesday and Thursday mornings and we were there on Tuesday Morning through Thursday morning. Again something that would have been nice if the website would have said so. I asked the people at the front desk where they suggested for dinner, and they gave us some good ideas, however they did not tell us that only certain restaurants were open on certain evenings. We ended up walking a couple blocks to a suggested restaurant just to find out that they were closed on Tuesday evening. When I checked in and got up to the room of course I looked things over, and found somebody else's hair still in the bathtub. So I questioned what else did they miss while cleaning. However Yolanda at the front desk was awesome and getting me another room for my troubles, even though it was the same exact room. The bed was harder than a brick and I probably would have slept better on the floor. Also the windows in the room are very drafty. Also I would not recommend buying a bottle of beer from their cooler next to the front desk unless you enjoy paying close to $7 a bottle.

  Big disappointment

  We book this place as something different view. Room was nice and well appointed. Staff was friendly that's it. No emptying of trash or beds made at all during stay. Coffee in room but no tea and eating area closed on days we were there so no place to eat in house. If you park on any level above first level you go down stairs or ramp to get into lobby. Also have to go back up the stairs or ramp to get to your vehicle. Not pleasant with luggage or a bad knee. Having to pay $12 for parking is a joke with this set up. I have travel for years with my job and personal and have found cheaper places with more amenities and better service. All I can say was paying for a view not worth it.

  Marriott standards but staff not enforcing Covid protocol

  Pros: Our room was quiet, dark for sleeping, and the bed extremely comfortable. The roll-out desk was functional and innovative, a nice place to have a snack. The free Wifi signup was a bit confusing on my iPhone, and I inadvertently clicked on the pay for option, which I definitely did not need. Great location. Be wary of the restaurant service from local sushi restaurant Rain...at least on a Friday night during Covid. Ill review it in another post. Cons: Although there were ample mobile hand sanitizing stations available, hotel staff was not enforcing/reminding guests of posted hotel signs regarding mask wearing and Covid protocol. I PERSONALLY KNOW HOW DIFFICULT AND AWKWARD THIS TASK IS, BUT DONT ADVERTISE YOUR COVID PROTOCOL WITH NO INTENTION OF FOLLOWING IT. Marriott has a great reputation to retain!
