  Wonderful stay

  It was one of the best holiday we ever had. The children went crazy with the splash park. The staff there very polite very helpful nothing was to much trouble for them A special mention to Aliki that made our little boy ( special needs) to feel free and happy . Thank you Aliki. Food and service was good , quality of drinks excellent The beach clean and the rooms also The rooms are a bit small for family of 4 but we managed ok Thank you Cronwell Platamon Resort for the excellent experience.

  ULTRA all inclusive with tap water ???

  Well, pretty nice hotel and beach. Considering the covid situation... Pretty good service but with a lot of cuttings. Beach : nice sand with some rocks but a little dirty :( Hotel area : pretty clean Room : everyday "cleaning " + minibar (4 x 1/2 l bottles of water, 2 orange juices and 1 "fanta" ) for 3 adults?????? + bathroom things for only 2 people instead of 3 Free internet all around the hotel But..... Closing all pools and all bars (except lobby bar ) because of a short 30 minutes rain for 2 days was very ugly... + they say "beach bar open 10.00-23.00 " but they close it at 18.00 MAX.!!! P. S. "ULTRA all inclusive " = -at beach bar : draft beer, local "Pepsi" drinks + TAP water?!?!?, horrible coffee and some small snacks + ice-cream. You have to buy a bottle of water or a tonic drink (not on "ULTRA AL" ). + AT "pool bar" you can get only "PEPSI " drinks (no alcoholic beverages included ). UAL, maybe at the lobby bar, but still (tap water, no tonic drinks) .... If you want a good coffee.... search outside the hotel!!!! Food? Almost good! Almost!!!!! Coffee and drinks? Worst ever!!!!! And again : closing 90% of all facilities because of a little 30 minutes warm rain was wery ugly, so, be careful with your bookings!!! Anyway, NOT WORTH spending 150-200! / night at this... pretty lovely clean old hotel. P. S. 2 : Tap water at "ULTRA " all inclusive?????????????? P. S. 3 ! Beware : on weekends, locals are coming on the "5 star UALbeach" occupating with their sheets and cheap umbrellas the row between your chairs and the sea!!!!! Because, "this is THEIR sea, given by Poseidon or their ancient gods ", so.... Beware if the wind blows their umbrellas or something!!!!! I am sorry for the this long review or for my grammar mistakes. I hope they publish it and it is helpful for you. (I was not this lucky to read a review from 2020 )

  No ultra all-inclusive....ultra low-cost

  Very bad choice from our part,this hotel does not offer ultra all-inclusive services, the right term is low-cost. The food is very simple and the same dishes during the whole stay. Beverages - awfull, just chemical juices,one type of local beer and 2 types of poisonous wines. For everything extra you have to pay extra. My advice - stay out of it!

  3 star hotel

  Low rent and low cost. 5 stars? Not even close. Maybe 2-3 stars. Short staffed at all times. However, the staff are very helpful, go out of their way to help and do their best. The odd one does have a 'please don't bother me' mentality but generally very good. Water park is good for the kids although it is maintained on a budget (paint peeling off everywhere, some protective fencing missing etc.) Similarly the hotel itself and all facilities are maintained on a (low) budget. Cleaning of communal spaces probably happens once a week (if that) and the lifts had the same muddy handprints for the duration of our stay. The food is average, plenty of reheated food in the evening, 2 star standard at best. Coffee out of a machine, snacks below average (stale pizza or cheese and ham mini sandwiches). The beach is decent. Not Halkidiki standard but not bad either. Lots of uneven pebbles and rocky shallows so best to bring rubber/plastic beach shoes. Plenty of umbrellas and chaise longues for everyone. Tennis, football courts must be paid for (all inclusive???), beach towels are not routinely replaced nor can they be exchanged at the end of the day as per usual 5 star hotels. They need to be kept for the duration of your stay unless they get really soiled (verbatim from hotel front desk staff). So if you are staying for 2 weeks, you should be using the same towels (remember, this is purportedly a 5 star establishment at a time of a pandemic). If you want 5 star all inclusive, head for Mitsis' chain of hotels. This ain't one. Its not bad, would probably score highly as a 2 star, average as a 3 star, nowhere as a 5 star.
