  Diggers to the Rescue!

  We had a confirmed booking at another hotel in Francistown but when we went to check in they said they didn't have any record of it! They managed to find us a room at the Diggers Inn who came to our rescue. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The shower was huge, lots of hot water with good pressure. The wifi is free, there is secure parking at the back of the hotel. We had breakfast at the restaurant which is a few steps away from the hotel itself. We both had omelettes which were freshly cooked and tasty. The staff at Diggers were very very helpful, they couldn't have done more. We were travelling in a vehicle with a roof top tent and we needed to empty the vehicle of all our belongings ready for our next stop. It involved numerous trips up the stairs (there is no lift) and the staff willingly helped to lug all our stuff up to the room. If we ever pass through Francistown again, which is highly likely, we would stay at Diggers. The service we had from them when they came to our rescue was brilliant.   Business trip to Francistown

  The room is comfortable and well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our only challenge was the wifi, which was not stable and therefore the internet not always available. This only happened during night, and it was resolved in the morning.

  Good Hotel

  We can recommend this Cityhotel. The room was large, parking secured, good aircondition,nice staffs (Eddie from the recpetion wasvery friendly and helpful). Breakfast in their Coffeeshop was good, Cappucino very good. Dinner in their restaurant excellent.

  COOL EATING

  The two big problems in Francistown are the heat and parking. The Diggers Inn has nice shady parking and a cool upstairs restaurant. The menu covers all the normal choices but the taste is delicious and the price reasonable. We chose chicken liver starters and fish and chips for the main course. Both were most enjoyable.

  Cool place to relax at

  I visit the restaurant often to relax and have a well cooked meal, the food is very tasty and nice. The ambience good, Courteous staff and their WiFi is also fast. The bath rooms a very clean as well as their eating place
