  Nice Hotel South of the Yangtze River

  Double Tree By Hilton -Nan'an is a stylish hotel south of the CBD and south of the Yangtze river. We stayed on the 18th floor so had views of the surrounding apartments and hills. Staff were friendly and helpful. Majority of the guests in the hotel were local or visiting domestic Chinese Travellers. Smoking was a problem even within the hotel and on the floors and even in the lifts! Apart from all of that we felt very safe and were always welcomed everytime we came or went.

  A good business hotel but cleanness is not satisfying

  As a diamond member of Hilton, my room is upgrade to a standard suite. When check in, the reception is a bit inefficient but still tolerable. The first night goes well except the cover of the TV remote is polluted by some uncertain liquid. On the first morning, I found some glass clastic on the carpet in front of the sitting room sofa. This indicates the carpet was not cleaned before I checked in. I put the glass clastic on the tea table to remind the cleaner. When I came back in the second night, things happened. No turn down service, no executive lounge delivery, no coffee bag refill, and the glass clastic is till there. Further more, I found the tea table is actually polluted by some disgusting liquid also. So I believe the whole sitting room was not properly cleaned before I arrive. Fortunately I was not injured by the glass clastic but the service of the second night is obviously not met the standard of a business hotel such as doubletree.

  Great experience

  I used my points to redeem a 5-night stay at this property. Staffs at the lounge were very welcoming and provided exceptional services. They gave good advice on food and attractions since they were very familiar with Chongqing. The house cookies were good as usual. One thing I did like to mention - not to this particular hotel but to all DoubleTrees - is the Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo and conditioner. These do not go well with my hair, and with all the humidity my hair almost exploded everyday.

  Conveniently located hotel, great service

  Conveniently located, very close to the next metro station. Also easy to reach by car. Modern and most hotel with spacious, bright and most importantly clean rooms. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. The Western Restaurant offers a decent size buffet, which was well visited but we managed to get a space. Good value for money at the buffet, again a good selection of Chinese and Western food. What I find particularly convenient was the shopping mall right next to the hotel and the pedestrian road with plenary of restaurants. Really friendly service in the entire hotel. Overall a modern, clean hotel at a good location with nice & pro-active employees. Certainly a hotel to recommend

  One week visit in Chongqing. Excellent location in the middle of everything, lot of restaurants and street food nearby. Not too far away from riverside as well. Good gym equipped with small MMA octacon, nice! And sauna of course. Small business lounge with snacks and food is a plus. High recommendation.
