  True serenity.

  My son and his girlfriend and I spent a wonderful 5 nights at Serenity. The place is so well-appointed with very helpful staff. The rooms are large airy and spacious. The price is excellent for such nice rooms. The location is about 80m from the river road along the fence where we used to drive in the evening to see animals from the Kruger Park drinking at the Crocodile River. We spent an idyllic time there together and had a real relaxing unwind of a time. It is close to Kruger Park so we could drive out on safari as well. The self-catering set up is super with everything you could possibly need for your cooking. and we did not have to share a fridge. We had our own fridge and freezer. In short an amazing place. Bernadette the owner is such a lovely person, helpful and concerned for our comfort. We can't say enough. It was a great choice. One we will most certainly make again.

  Tranquil Setting

  Lovely lodge located fairly close to the river. Lodge is well equipped with everything that you need to make your stay pleasant. Well serviced and clean and good value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed stay at the lodge in a beautiful setting ensuring for a relaxing and fantastic weekend.

  Very unhygienic, terrible beds and bedding, thatch roof very old and stuffy, dust mites falling from the roof

  Some small creatures running up and down the roof and night, very scary to sleep at night ,terrible bed and bedding.. we were supposed to sleep 3nights, but we had to check out the following day, kids were sneezing,having rash because of the dust mite falling from the old roof. Very stuffy, unpleasant smell inside..we had to ask someone from home to drive and bring us our own bedding so we could sleep..

  Awesome stay!

  My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Du Bois Lodge. Even though it rained throughout our stay there, Bernadette managed to provide for us an amazing stay. She was there to welcome us even though it was in the rain. What a lovely host. We will definitely be going back there.
