  What a revelation!

  I can't understand the reviews for this jewel. The receptionist RAN to help with the cases( at 3am), the room turned out to be a suite, the food was varied and much thought had gone into it and all the staff did everything they could to make our holiday special.It's great.(Oh and the toilets worked)

  I hope you like raw cabbage

  Ok lets be serious now..We arrived at the hotel, after reading these awful reviews, thinking "It cant be that bad!" But trust me...it is that bad! Upon arrival we thought the room, however basic, was not tht bad. Plus they had prepared room for us after a long journey..and trust me that coach journey is LONG and the drivers are INSANE! Realised that there where only 8 guests in the ENTIRE hotel..therefore NO buffet breakfast..stale toast, an egg (if your lucky) jam, cheese, ham and salami that could have been used for poker chips! Skiing there was great fun, the instructors are awesome, make sure you get Peter...But watch out for the bell sellers! (Particularly MICHEAL - he is not your friend! and bullied about £15 out of us by the end of our week). Back to the hotel...dinner, printed on an A4 sheet of paper...included... Cabbage, cold soup, stale bread, undercooked chicken, and chips - raw dipped in oil. And to top that off - An apple. On a plate. For your pudding. It was soon we realised... The dinner was the same as was the breakfast - EVERY DAY. The waiters seemed to not quite understand the laughter from the dining room, was not enjoyment, but instead shock at finding wood shavings in your baklava cake! The room is FREEZING, the shower is SO POWERFUL and LEAKS EVERYWHERE the shower fills up like a bath, then spills all over the floor! Oh and yes...the toilet blocked... To top this off, drinks are not included. Coffee but only with breakfast, when I went to get a coffee in the day, the staff turned the machine off!! There is no gym, no massage, no nightclub. Just the remains of your soul after a week of hideous service. We still had fun, but seriously, never again. Unless you want to live of protein bars, like we did!

  wonderful hotel in the middle of the forest

  we were at hotel Elina to meet new year 2014 that is unforgettable, hotel staff had tried to give us lots of fun and surprises. And the food was no words to describe a delicious food I've eaten anywhere in the world .The NEW YEAR program was amazing with lots of music and dancing. And they showed us their folklore music, boy playing a bagpipe and singer. Staff was very nice and helpful everyone knew English language . Next year we will go there for Christmas and New Year . THANKS TO THE WHOLE TEAM

  Avoid it!!

  A very bad hotel. As you have so many in Pamporovo you could find way better for the same price or cheaper. If the hotel is just totally out of fashion the room was quite clean. However, the matress was hard and the shower tray too short so you got water all over the floor. But what to say about the service!! We had "dinner" (we were two) and they forgot to bring one plate... And the food : oil oil and oil. The breakfast was the climax. It's really poor quality (rotten apples, no choice) and still the service... The coffee machine was not working. We asked and the answer was : you can get one from the bar but you have to pay. Not really happy with this answer we went to the manager. His answer : not my problem! We had to insist, they tried to restart the coffee machine and we got : water with coffee. By leaving, we told the manager we were really disappointed. As my boyfriend was leaving he replied to me : i wish you good luck! My boyfriend heard and came back. The manager felt so bad as my boyfriend was not supposed to hear. Yeah, very macho!!!

  Will not go again

  We arrived at the hotel at 3am and we were tired and just wanted to go to bed and this is where the trouble began. They gave us a double bed and had booked a twin room, the people who were waiting for us snatched my suitcase out of my hand and he didnt look to happy that i was trying to get it back. When we finally got in the (right) room the light wasnt working and was told it would be fixed in the morning...was still not working when we left this morning. The maid service (if you can say there is one) was awful our towels were changed once while we were there and the beds were changed once. The room was freezing and the windows weren't double glazing which you would expect in a winter resort. The food was awful and cold and my brother was feeling ill 3 days into the trip. The hotel was far out so would be better if you get something central. Overall the hotel was awful but the skiing was worth it.
