  Perfecto para negocios

  Si visitas el parque tecnològico de Lund tu hotel ideal es el Elite Hotel Ideon. Instalaciones modernas y bien estructuradas con salas de reuniones a una planta del comedor. Habitaciones correctamente equipadas con grandes cristaleras y buena calidad del sueño. Como pero pondría la escasa oferta televisiva. Sauna y gimnasio de fácil acceso y uso.

  Excelente opción, aunque lejos del centro

  Es un hotel excelente.Perfecto por su ubicacion cerca de la universidad (que era el motivo de mi visita); pero 20-25min caminando del centro de la ciudad. Escogimos una habitacion familiar, y es grande y comoda para todos. Beun servicio de limpieza. Buen desayuno, pero mejorable, a menudo se agotan las cosas y partir de las 9 ya la cosa se complica. El personal que atiende el desayuno tambien es mejorable

  Poor overall experience

  Shockingly expensive. Unfriendly welcome by receptionist who instead of saying welcome first thought she'd start by informing us that checking in before 2PM was associated with an additional fee of 400SEK. Poor and uninspiring breakfast, The water in the shower never not hot enough, Expensive and mediocer conference facilities, Resturant understaffed and overpriced, The café (Paolos) is quite nice and staff is friendly. Conclusion: Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to. There are plenty of better options in Lund. If you have a meeting at Ideon or Medicon Village you are better off spending an extra 10min on transport rather than staying here.

  Very good conference hotel

  Ideon hotel where a friendly and nice hotel with nice rooms and facilities, the associated restaurant Paolo did not meet up to the standard though, partly to a vert bad place in the hotel partly for, my guess, lack of customers But! The conference part in the hotel i give a 5 rating Easy and very good service, every need where accomplished swift and right. So for your conference needs in Lund I recommend Ideon

  A lot of potential - friendly staff

  We were lucky to get a good deal online - $76 or 507 DKR (Danish kroner) + an additional 70 SEK (Swedish Kroner) extra parking fee. Parking was rather expensive I thought considering its outskirts location and literally surrounded by empty parking lots. (25-30 minutes walk in to the Center of Lund) If wed paid the hotels normal asking price for a DELUXE room - 1071 SEK - I might have chosen to stay more central to start with. Our room (915) was a corner room with great views. Comfy bed and a good sized room with a fridge (minibar), which was a plus. (Alcohol is expensive in Sweden so we often bring a bottle of wine if we are on a relaxation stay.) That said, theres room for lots of improvements. Apart from Sky News they only offer Swedish television channels, so you better brush up on your Swedish. There was only one robe in the cupboard even though its a double room. (Either two, or none.) They could have provided small complementary toiletries and not just the squirt things hanging on the wall with shampoo and shower gel in one. The breakfast was - as always in Scandinavia - great. Lots of choices. Cold cuts, warm food, cakes and fruit and the usual 3-5 different choices of juices. BUT... considering that its a buffet and were in the middle of a global pandemic/COVID-19, the precaution is close to zero! They did have a couple of bottles of gel round and about, but in a place that potentially receives guests from all over the world, gloves should be mandatory where food is involved. As Sweden literally has no national restrictions as COVID-19 goes, remember to bring wipes to wipe down the essentials in your room and gel for usage whenever and wherever. We have our masks as well, which we use in confined spaces like shops or public transportation. Better safe than sorry. Stay safe and keep travelling is our motto!
