  Lovely Hotel

  Having just stayed for 8 nights at the Hotel Eur I have to say how impressed with the hotel and all its staff we where. We where half board and have to say we really enjoyed the food, especially the salad bar, if any thing we wished we could have eaten a little later but understand there has to be a cut of time. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, only a block away from the sea front. We only went down there at night and it was lovely to wander up and down looking at the various stalls and just people watch in general. There was the Big Eye one end which was good to go on, with good views on a night, Also we did have a ride on the small tourist train which ran up to Viareggio every 30 minutes or so, with the last one back been midnight. Our hotel room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the mountains, a wonderful view especially early evening when the sun was just going down. We hired a car from Pisa airport and it only took us 30 minutes or so to arrive at the hotel, the car park was always full if you arrived later in the day, but you just parked up where you could and left the keys at reception so they could move it if need be. Whilst we where there they had a problem with the swimming pool and it had to be emptied of which lasted about 4 days, if you had a family with you it would have probably been a problem but we where travelling just the two of us so it didn't worry us, in fact it was very quiet around the pool area, and the Jacuzzi pool was still open to use and cool off. I would fully recommend anyone staying at this hotel, we certainly will if we are visiting the area again.

  Ottimo Albergo

  Good Hotel in Lido d Camaiore. Very clean and perfect for families with children. A good kitchen and a wonderful pool. The sea it is placed few metres. Good food and good wine (2 years ago the home wine was better that now) !

  Great location

  Just stayed here for a week. Our room had a fab mountain view and was immaculately clean. Would have liked fresh fruit at breakfast but other than that there was plenty choice. Hotel is very family friendly but that is clearly advertised on website, we travelled as a couple but weren't put off by that. We were the only English staying, found the staff very pleasant and always happy to help. Just a few minutes stroll to beach and restaurants, bus stops close by so it's easy to get to viareggio if you want to catch trains anywhere. We found it was a good base for exploring but also had the beach and plenty of restaurants close by.

  VERY CLEAN HOTEL

  Good hotel with small swimming pool but ok for the size of the hotel. Nice italian food with different pasta everyday, nice waiter that speak English very well. The sea is 5 minutes away with lots of large lidos for miles and beautiful sand

  Definitely more than a three star.

  My wife and I stayed here for four nights.Check in was quick,room was excellent. Although the description is ' Beach Front ', there are two roads and other buildings between the Eur and the sea. However, it is in an excellent position. Our room was at the back facing away from the sea, towards the mountains,which was fine. Morning sun. I do not imagine the rooms at the front will have much of a sea view due to the other buildings. The room and the hotel, were very clean and bright.The daily maid service was excellent. Before attending to the rooms, the maids brush and tidy the hotel grounds. The hotel caters for families, with bouncy castle and trampoline.The pool is a reasonable size, but there is also a roof terrace, with sunbeds and settees and chairs, partially under cover, and excellent views. Breakfast is typical Italian, cereals, fruit etc. Only complaint, was that it never varied. Tinned peaches and yogurt,same cheese and meat. No matter,it was adequate.We were B & B , so cannot comment about the evening meal. It did appear, as though the main waiter,was taking orders for the evening meal, at breakfast. Very convenient to reach the promenade,where there are numerous restaurants and bars. The bus stops are approximately 100/150 meters in either direction.There is an airport bus, every hour, which costs 3 euros and takes about 1 hr and 10 mins. If arriving from Pisa airport on this bus, it is the first stop after the Information Center on the right, as you enter Lido Di Camaiore. All in all, a very pleasant hotel, with helpful pleasant staff. We would be very happy to return ps. Take insect/mosquito repellent.
