  Disorganized hotel

  We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a child friendly hotel. We arrived to find no child bed and no water cooker in the room. Later in the restaurant there was no child chair prepared and we got a very bad table located right at the kitchen entry. Food was not tasty and selection was poor. The balcony at our room had damaged floor. Overall a bad experience.

  Great family hotel! (Dont depend on babysitting though)

  This is our second winter holiday in Lagant. We love it! Clean rooms, great food and lots to do. Since our visit last year, the food has improved. We look forward to breakfast and dinner. The kids love the indoor play areas. There is also indoor pools and tennis if you fancy it. We were lucky enough to stay in the upper lodge by the restaurant this year, which is a must if you have kids that cant walk yet. Last year we stayed on the lower lev l and had to carry our twins up the stairs quite a lot. We are fit and love a challenge, so we didnt mind. However, if you have a bad back or hate stairs, try to book the upper level. The downside... me and my husband asked about babysitting being available during our stay. We asked two times (before booking and confirmed after booking). We wanted to try and learn to ski and booked a week this year. We figured we would ski 2 hours a day. But, when we arrived, we were told that they have a limit of 4 young children (under 3 years old) they can look after. For the whole hotel! Its a big hotel! In other words, no childcare promised for our twins! So, buyer beware! If you planned to book this hotel and have your children watched while you ski for a few hours or booked a ski lesson, you may not be able to do so. You will lose the deposit on your ski lesson because they cannot tell you if you Ill get childcare or not! For older children, dont worry. But as other reviewers have mentioned, if you have babies or toddlers then you take a risk. Still enjoying our time, but wanted to let people know what to expect ahead of time. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples with children aged 3 or older.

  Perfect stay

  We loved this hotel! The location is perfect. There's plenty to do around the hotel if one wants to go out. The hotel is nice, clean, with great facilities to keep kids entertained. The food is really yummy, better then we expected and have had in other places. The staff is really nice and helpful. We didn't try he childcare option or any of the organised activities but there's really enough to do. If I really want to be picky, I'd say it was a bit of a pain to go from our room to the restaurant (it was going up all the way), but after the first two meals our 20-month old walked it easily each time :-) We will be back!

  Spectacular location but few niggles with hotel

  We recently stayed at the Lagant hotel in Brand and I will start with the positives: - location: amazing scenery and views of the Voralberg mountains from the hotel. Brand and the surrounding villages are extremely pretty and scenic. - Relaxed atmosphere in the hotel - Rooms: ok, typical chalet style and a bit dated but not too bad overall. We were lucky to have an upgrade to a family room which was bigger than the standard rooms. - breakfast: good selection of everything incl Bircher muesli, gluten free crackers and snacks, pancakes and meats and cheeses. A good start to the day! Areas for improvement: - Kids club: rather disorganised and no clear leadership on activities. Staff very young and quite inexperienced and didnt officially greet us when we entered the kids club. Might be ok for older kids but we didnt feel comfortable leaving our young kids in the club on their own. Our experience last year was quite different - the club was led by an enthusiastic and dynamic Spanish woman called Anna who was welcoming and evidently liked working with children. - lunch and Evening meal: now buffet style (due to Corona) and a bit variable in quality and repetitive at times. We had visited the hotel last year also and had tasted better quality food, so perhaps there had been a change of chefs in the kitchen. - Sauna: facilities are ok but not very modern by Austrian/German standards. Also reception did not keep tabs on how many guests were entering the sauna (this was restricted due to Corona) and so we felt this was not very well organised and one day we used the facilities we noticed there were double bookings of the sauna. Despite the niggles, we still had a nice holiday and enjoyed the scenic location and will definitely return to the region in the future.

  Price quality nice hotel

  We went to the hotel for 7 days, we enjoyed the friendly service people. The food in the morning midday and evening is fine. At night you can take at thé terras several nice cocktails. The swimming pool and jakuzzi and not to forget the sauna is a ad+ and very relaxing. The hotel is near Lunna sea, and the mountains near you. I would definitely advise for families this hotel. We will come back for sure Many thanks for the atmosphere and nice hospitality Price quality is okay
