  OK, but not great

  The hotel is close to a small ski area, good for beginners. For intermediate to advanced you will need to take a bus to keep things interesting, not ideal. The snow conditions were, because of the warm weather, not great. In general it's not very interesting for advanced skiers. Short runs and long queues for the lifts. You cannot blame the hotel, but something to keep in mind. The renovated rooms are nice and roomy. Food is good, not much variety for the kids. Service during diner is slow. Pool is nice, but small and gets really crowded. Not enough parking for the hotel guests.

  Very good, with details worth working on

  We stayed at the Alphotel as a three generation family for a week in March. We had lots of snow, so ski-out and back into hotel was no prob. Kleinwalsertal is a very family friendly skiing area with some challenging runs for experts (Hoher Ifen). Hotel is great for kids, in particular up to 12 yrs, with very nice nursery, kindergarten and kids areas, all run by friendly and qualified staff and free of charge. Food was also very nice, served on the table (while the kids enjoy their dinner in kids club) with non alcoholic drinks free of charge 24/7. Pool is good size but sometimes busy. No slide or other activities in pool though. Most of the room are newly renovated with very nice bathrooms. And here are the details: The baby bedroom in the first apartment was so small that the baby bed had to be squeezed-in next to radiator. The baby bed was broken, one wheel missing, and hence wobbly. Our son refused to sleep in there. We then moved into a bigger room (surcharge) which was brand-new and spacious, but was furnished as if a sofa and table was missing - just two chairs in the corner. Grandma's room was also newly renovated, but so dark that even with bright daylight one had to switch on the light. We had a medical incident and reception staff was very helpful - which could not be said about everybody in the service area.

  Perfekt hotel for families with small kids

  It was the second time we stayed in this family-friendly hotel in Hirschegg and we passed a perfekt week there. Our kids (3 and 4 years old) loved to go to the skischool close to the hotel and they had a good time at the kidsclub of the hotel where they were always welcomed with a smile. The staff of the restaurant is very friendly and the food is excellent. The pool is quite small but has nice warm water and there is a calm wellness area. We will return there next year again!

  Excellent ski hotel for families with kids

  This hotel is a well-run family hotel, with focus on families with small kids. The location is OK, on a hill, offering excellent views over the beautiful Kleinwalsertal, Western Austria. The outside areas are fantastic and there is something for everyone. With the hotels shuttle bus, every morning we were brought to (and back from) a station, where we could (i) drop our kids (for pick up by the local ski-schools ski-bus) and (ii) take the lift to go skiing on a (rel. challenging) ski piste above the hotel. The apartment we got was spacious and had everything necessary. The only minus was that in the living room there were no chairs around the table, so our kids ended up having their aft. snack on the sofa The food, too, did not disappoint us, esp. the choice of items for breakfast as well as buffet salad bar and main courses for dinner. The New Years dinner and the afternoon snacks were fantastic, too. If you're after a huge water world or spa area this is not the right hotel for you. Its pool is rel. small and there is nothing special for the kids. A bit problematic was also that our car had to stay outdoors all the time, making our departure more "challenging" (given it had snowed a lot the days before)... The hotels childcare was OK, although our 2 kids did not have much time to benefit from the facility.

  We stayed on 10th July 2018. We went for dinner that day. Manager told us to sit certain table. EE start eating. Soup was cold and other vegetables also was cold. Waitress came and snatched Napkins from my hand and told me that I am allowed to sit on this table. I told manager . He did not say anything. Too much discrimination towards Indian in that restauran. Next day breakfast time also waitress behaved very rudely. Tea was cold Aldo. We paid the full money and got disrespect and rudeness.Mo tourist company should send any Indians over there. Indians are hiving them too much business to them and they do not have respect towards them.
