  Excellent hotel very near to Addis Ababa Airport

  I have recently visited Foyat hotel . It is a newly opened 4 star hotel 5 min away from Addis Ababa airport. The rooms are very nit and equipped with state of the art furniture. The staffs are too friendly and knowledgeable. The price is also very good. As the hotel is new they are giving attractive promotional rate. Free WIFI as well as cable network available at each room. Small but well equipped gym and massage service is also available. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Addis Ababa.

  Its a tucky place, walking distance from the Airport and generally peaceful.

  I spent four business days here, the food was good per Addis standards, the service was also just on par. The rooms though not princely are quite enough for the average person not looking for ostenticity. I would not hesitate to return, if just for the peace.

  Nice and new, close enough to everything

  It was a short stay but it was a pleasant one. Staff were very polite and friendly, it's close enough to everything you need including Hayat Hospital. It's a new hotel comfortable and clean. It was my first time in Adis, The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Foyat to anyone traveling to Adis and I would return again.

  Will never return!

  Yes it is close to the airport, but when they fail to pick up you at 11:00pm after confirming your booking you get a bit worried. You sometimes have water in your room, when you do it can be hot or cold! The food is not bad but after getting food poisoning and a colleague finding a cockroach in his food, I have stuck to very basic food. Breakfast is a lottery - some days there is a buffet, some days there are no staff to serve you. The table clothes did not get changed for the 2 weeks I stayed in the hotel. The power comes and goes and sometimes the generator has no fuel, so you sit without power. Lastly, the internet access depends on how many staff or locals are commanding the limited bandwidth. All in all a shocking experience and I will safely say that I will never return here. There are loads of other good hotels in Addis - you can find better!!

  Avoid at all cost!!

  Only Chinese food is served...even the breakfast buffet. I couldnt eat chinese even if I am hungry! Avoid at all cost. Internet is really poor... Electricity is off now and again. Restaurant is unhygienic tables and utensils dirty. Most of my electric plugs in my room is not working! For the price I am paying it should be 5 * property. I should be checking out after I finish this review!
