Clean and friendly
Very clean bathroom and soft comfortable bed. Great location with no traffic if you want to be close to buss to the airport and arc de triumph Five minutes walk to Lido and subway station. It has an elevator.

Exceptional experience
Had to go to Paris for a "first thing Monday morning " business meeting on short notice, so I flew in Sunday night. The George Washington is a very convenient location so I gave it a try. I was welcomed most friendly, despite just staying one night. My request for a taxi the next morning was noted and when taking an evening stroll I was offered a very nice umbrella. Very nice and stylish interior and room! Great breakfast the next morning, fresh fruit salad, a fluffy made to order omelette, excellent coffee, great and impeccable service. My taxi was there on the minute without the need for a reminder. Overall, I was truly pleased and positively surprised. Will definitely return when coming to Paris.again.

Lady at the front desk should be replaced
The hotel itself is good, nice rooms, good location. We went there last week, the old night staff was very kind, therefore we decided to come back. But the lady at the front desk ruined the 2nd stay. She made me upset for the whole day. We ordered breakfast in the room at 7:45am. Finally at 8am, still no breakfast, the lady called to say all is ready downstairs. I said no we ordered in the room, I was even not showered. I asked her to bring to the rooms but she refused, she was rude saying it was already set up downstairs. I did not want to argue.. I was getting ready.. then she called again to say that my driver arrived downstairs. I told my staff has a room, he does what he wants. Me I had my room, my choice of breakfast was upstairs from the start. I started to get upset and I insisted that she brings my breakfast in the room. She finally did. But coffee was not in a jar, therefore cold coffee, no milk as asked at the order. We finally got our breakfast at 8:15am we were late because of her. By the way, it is not because there is Covid that breakfast should only be 1 croissant and 1 coffee. This breakfast is a joke. I know that buffet are not allowed, but at least serve a decent breakfast... with bread, 2-3 viennoiserie, a yogurt, an orange juice. Do I have to explain your job?? Then at the check out, this same lady was so rude, asking if we had minibar, I said no, then she said anyway she has my credit card in case... what does that mean?? You cannot say that to guests. Then my fiancée wanted to stay longer in the room until 12. She mentioned very rudely to not leave after 12 !!! We even did not ask for a late check out. Then this same lady called in the room at 12:00 sharp to leave the room (she was about to go down anyway). You cannot be so rude... change your job if you dont like having guests. It is the crises, at least do extra efforts to keep the only few customer you have...

Awful
Stinks of Cigarettes and dirty. Moved rooms and still no better. Staff were mostly unhelpful. Definitely not worthy of 4 stars - more reminiscent of a dirty motel. Air con/heating doesnt work, no shower curtain, shower takes about 10 minutes to heat up, stained carpets, plug sockets dont work.

Overpriced
There was some people smoking weed in the next room. All smoke came into our room and in the corridor. Secondly, lack of towels, flip flop, and shampoo... The room was not properly isolated from noises. Parking was way too expensive and far from the hotel. 36E breakfast... ? Overpriced regarding the quality.

Vais a flipar...
El tema es fuerte... Nosotros habíamos reservado en el hotel Du Romancier, pero nos cambiaron a este tras hacer la reserva porque nos dijeron que Du Romancier estaba en obras. Agarraos que vienen curvas. Cuando llegamos y le pedimos el desayuno al recepcionista, se puso a rechistar, pero al final nos lo puso. CONSEJO: No desayunéis allí. No os dejan elegir, variedad muy escueta. Cada vez que llegábamos al hotel veíamos al recepcionista (uno de ellos, vimos como 4 diferentes) en el sofá de la recepción, tumbado sin zapatos ni mascarilla (estamos en época COVID) y viendo vídeos. A otro recepcionista le pedimos 2 almohadones más para la cama y nos dijo que no podía dárnoslos (id preparados, la cama doble solamente cuenta con dos cojines y son MUY pequeños). Una tarde mientras estábamos tranquilos en nuestra habitación, abrieron la puerta dos desconocidos diciendo que esa era su habitación. Nosotros, alarmados y discutiendo con ellos, llamamos al recepcionista y nos dijo que ay! había sido un problema y que iban a la habitación de al lado (no sabéis las gracias que doy de haber estado esa tarde en la habitación, si no, habrían entrado y podrían haberse llevado todo). 'Gracias' a esto, nos dio los cojines que le pedimos! Pedimos un taxi para volver al aeropuerto, sabiendo que el precio suele rondar los 37 y, además, el recepcionista nos lo había confirmado. Para nuestra sorpresa, vino un coche (que no era taxi) a recogernos al hotel, nos engañó y exigió pagarle 60 por el viaje. Ah, y la ducha no tiene presión, solamente cuando el agua sale ardiendo jajajja en fin, sin sentido. Espero que esto os sirva como consejo en vuestra estancia en París. LO BUENO: Las habitaciones del hotel George Washington eran espaciosas para estar en París, baño con bañera, nevera, armario con perchas, mesitas de noche, enchufes. Cuando llegamos, tuvimos la suerte de que nos dieron 1 de las 2 habitaciones que habíamos pedido, lo que nos gustó mucho porque eran las 10 de la mañana y así podíamos arreglarnos para pasear por París.

I had been to this hotel from date 17/05/2022 226/05/2022 it was very nice for me i liked it the hotel is very closed 2 champes Eleysees Ave,evey thing you need to have fun you can find easly the market and the good things are very closed

Good Location! Okay Hotel
My family of four recently stayed here for our Paris vacation and loved the location. It's pretty close to the George V metro which is great when trying to visit Paris. Our room was clean and relatively spacious, however, the pull out couch was broken and required us stuffing cushions underneath so it could be slept on. We made it work but felt this was something the hotel would not allow to occur when the inspect. Overall, this hotel served its purpose and I would still recommend.

Overpriced, rude and disgusting
If I could give 0 stars to this hotel, I would. Right from the beginning when we were trying to check in, Johan (receptionist), came off as rude. He wouldnt reply to us properly, he would not even look at us when we were talking. He would not answer our questions and you could feel he wanted us gone. Once we entered our room, we were horrified (I have pictures for all of it).. we noticed a huge damage on the bathroom door, the pull-out couch bed was horrible the middle sunk in, and there was dirty underwear and items left from the previous occupant. We called reception and Johan came upstairs to check. Right away he blamed us for the damage to the door, said Are you sure, you didnt do it? We were shocked he would accuse us! We then asked to see the manager. The manager, Camy Tan, had an answer to why everything was supposed to be the way it is. She would not listen or address our concerns at all. It got so frustrating that in the end I started crying. I had to beg her to at least fix the bed. She got extra blankets and a cushion to even out the middle. Every morning we woke up with sore backs. We couldnt enjoy Paris because of it. Do not pick this hotel! Even if its cheap, it will ruin your experience in Paris.
