  Espectacular

  El hotel es sencillamente espectacular: el edificio histórico totalmente reformado, ha conservado los signos del pasado (fijáos en los frisos del lobby, arriba o en las lámparas del lobby bar). El Cigar lounge está compuesto con obras de arte armenias y es super elegante De hecho todo el hotel es elegante y sofisticado, los muebles de diseño con terciopelo, muy años 20 y 40. Toques art-déco por todo el hotel Y todos los acabados son perfectos, han hecho un muy buen trabajo Mi habitación 725 con vistas a la ópera era super amplia, con sofá incluido y una enorme zona de armarios. Todas las habitaciones disponen de ducha y baños separados. Mis toiletries eran Kempinski. El spa es fantástico, situado en el menos 1, su enorme piscina y su zona de wellness: hammam, dos saunas y duchas varias. Incluso en el vestuario hay otra sauna extra. Las salas de tratamientos son amplias y austeras, bonitas. Yo disfruté de un masaje de primavera, uno con movimientos cortos y suaves y con un cepillo que elimina las células muertas. La terapista Tamara tiene muy buenas manos El desayuno tiene de todo para saciar a cualquier viajero. No tienen Nutella pero sí un chocolate hecho por ellos que también es muy bueno. Van sacando bandejas de productos acabados de salir del horno y el chef los presenta a los clientes, entre ellos, hay siempre un producto letón de patata y calabaza. Cené la primera noche en Amber y me encantó, comida de producto claro y algún toque moderno. Tampoco os perdáis el afternoon tea. Elegid la opción del afternoon tree. Super original! El Grand Bar es el lugar ideal para los cócktails hechos por Oscar. Yo probé un Heritage y mi amigo un banana Split. Ambos deliciosos, el Heritage me pareció espectacular. Cuando esté la terraza en la planta 8 abierta será increíble, el Stage 22 será la mejor terraza de la ciudad, sin duda. Todos los empleados super amables y simpáticos

  IT IS JUST AN OKAY HOTEL

  I just checked out, I would say that the hotel is not the best as claiming it to be for several reasons (IT IS JUST AN OKAY HOTEL): 1- Deposit issue: The website of the hotel and booking.com both were showing that no deposit required, however, my and my partner and another couple front of us were surprised that it is required to leave a deposit before you check-in and it is a mandatory part which we can not complete the check-in process cuz of it. (we have no problem paying that money but what if other customers were not ready to pay on the same night of arriving and for that he/she can not stay until that issue is solved). 2- The SPA area is not for adults only as written on the website ))): >> Please be ready because your expectations are going to fall down part by part with the SPA area. Firstly, You are going to find guests with their babies inside which are around 1 to 2 years only inside the Pool which by the way not that big pool at all so you have to e careful with your moves otherwise it will not end up good for the small baby inside pool with their parents which have not a problem about it. >> The SPA page again mentioned it is only for guest and adult one and no childer allowed here, Then we are surprised that after one hour there are 3 children with thier parents and each child from 5 to 7 years old only and there are trying to teach them how to swim inside the SPA pool (Can you imagine paying that amount of money in the hotel to get relaxed and enjoy the SPA and then you get surprised by a group of children keep playing and jumping in the water and was also trying to teach them how to swim in SPA FOR ADULT ONLY). >> SPA area has specific clothes that must be respected by the by everyone as in any hotels around the world BUT not in Kempinski as some guest was fully clothed with jeans and t-shirts inside the SPA area and just watching the same children which I have mentioned in the point above. >> The responsible for the SPA was guiding these customers with thier clothes inside the SPA and show them everything and let them use our seats which hold our stuff during the COVIED-19 and also not even apologizing for it and she saw all that children and the fully dressed guests in the SPA area. SO no way they were not aware of that situation. 3- The room + cleaning : >> They have a good room and you can not ask for better than what I saw so the room, in general, was totally okay and I would say it can take a score of 8 out of 10 easily. 4- The food >> The food of the restaurant was good and high quality treated by the staff there. So this part can take a score of 9 out of 10 easily between several hotels I tried in RIGA. 5- The front desk manager: She was kinda okay, and I told her about the situation but not sure how she will react here as I already left the hotel as my the experience was no that good which made me prefer to book with different hotels already. IF not the SPA experience and deposit issue I would say it is a five-star hotel but after all that happened thier, I would say that many other hotels have better SPA and also good treatment with half money paid in Kempinski.

  Loved it!!!

  This was one of the kind experience. From arrival until departure. Upon arrival the manager greeted us, evan walked until the room and explained everything about the hotel. The Spa Ladies were so kind, we did bring our slippers, but here you don't need them, they have ones for you. Everything is though out until the smallest detail. The rooms, was wonderful and the breakfast buffet - the best in Riga. Definitely we will come back.

  The Best Hotel in Baltic's

  What a luxury in midle of Riga. Me and my husband we have traveled a lot, and stayed in difarent Kempinski world wide. But Kempinski Riga is state of art: the service, the food, the rooms, the Spa everything is just perfect. Thank you very much for amazing stay. Definitely will come back to experience this kind of service where every single detail is thought out. We didn't inform that my husband had a birthday on our date of departure, but what a lovely surprise we had when the cake was brought to us during Breakfast. It was just perfect.

  You get service and feeling for what you are paying at that level hotels!

  Nice new hotel as all Kempinski's are ! Great location, friendly staff and service! It costs that money you pay for quality, view , service, rooms etc. Kitchen can be better but that is more on chef cook's responsibility not Kempinski's :))
