  Nice hotel in the heart of the city

  This hotel is in an ideal location, on a wide commercial street very close to of plenty of restaurants and shops. Ideal for an evening walk. The hotel is very good, clean with good amenities, would save it is five star. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly like most hotels we've been in China. Breakfast was good but not so much selection compared to other hotels of the same class in China. Would recommend this hotel.

  grand hotel

  stayed here for one night and it a little far from the centre of taiyuan,stuff here is nice and showed me many valuable info about this city.Room was also comfortable and food was great. Do not forget to try Daoxiao noodle ,which is the symbol of shanxi.

  GOOD Experience

  I stayed one night but it was a good experience. Clean room with all the amenities. Rich buffet breakfast and dinner. Staff speak a little English but enough to understand the main issues. Good Speed for the wifi in the room.

  Nice hotel but a lot of street noise

  Our room is on the 12th floor and despite being that high up we could hear a lot of traffic noise from the street. Despite the noise the room was comfortable. We couldn't get the lift to work as with this one you have to swipe your room card and then push the flashing floor button. Several other hotels have lifts that work this way so it's not uncommon. The highlight for us was the Table Soccer in the bar. It's free to use and a lot of fun was had that night.

  Expected more!

  Door was open prior to using key card; room smelled of stale alcohol, sheets had stains on them; slept on top of them; floor was dirty; will not stay here again and will not recommend to friends. Pictures on line must be years old; pool/facilities did not resemble
