  Give it a go

  We stay in Eden regularly and decided to stay at the Halfway this time. The price was ok, the room looked nice and clean. The bathroom must be from the 70/80s and looks very well used. Broken tiles, scratched plastic mini hand basin and antiquated noisy toilets, it wouldnt take much to spruce it up. The bed and pillows looked new. The bed was hard but fine to sleep in, I am just wondering of what material the pillows were made of, they were HARD! Pillows are cheap and can be replaced often. This business needs an energetic and hands on owner/manager. Business is hard but its not going to be better if you dont do the right thing.

  A bed in a town we dont know.

  This motel was just what we wanted not too many people and quiet. The welcome was very good with a smile and some milk. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was good just off the main road but nice and quiet from the traffic noise.Would recommend to anyone. Good rates as well.

  Good Location, Great Bed,

  Apart from an AMAZINGLY Comfortable bed and even for a 2nd storey room, good water pressure and lots of hot water, we were Very Disappointed in the Room NO Smoke Detector NO Microwave NO Advice on arrival that the advertised Restaurant was not open/therefore no Breakfast available on site. Screen Sliding door onto the balcony DID NOT lock therefore we were unable to have any air flow and no security if the glass door was open

  Enjoyable stay

  We stayed 2 nights on a driving holiday for our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff were lovely and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfy. The room was clean and quiet. Water pressure was great. The motel is located an easy walk to cafes and shops. We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

  Below average

  The greeting from the front desk was courteous and helpful. We had booked a king room The room was depressingly small, it seemed tired and worn out. It was clean! The curtain was torn, the fly screen held together with bluetac, the mirror in the bathroom was missing but it was on the dinning table, there was a cobweb on the ceiling light, the towels seemed very worn, the reading lamp on the bed was missing a globe, the TV Remote wont turn the TV on or off, but would change channels. The TV wasnt tuned into any channels. The constant trucks passing through the roundabout during the night kept us awake
