  Cheap and best

  Good rooms for the price. All basic amenities provided. The rate was even cheaper through Agoda so got a good deal. Rooms have a city view. Restaurant has a good choice of food. Staff are courteous and willing to help.

  Regretted.

  Wifey booked a family room for us with our 21 & 18 y/o daughters and 7 m/o daughter. Dissapointed with the facilities and room condition. Smelly carpet and bed. Amenities provided was not sufficient for 4 persons. Business Centre not functioning well. Made me lost my business deal for the day. However, the staff Amirul and Helmi wee very friendly.

  No upkeep

  I used to like this hotel, but unfortunately over the years the place has deteriorated. The heater didn't work, but the friendly reception staff helped change us to another room that had an instant heater installed. However, at night, the air-conditioning made so much noise that we couldn't sleep. Didn't sleep well at all over the two nights we were there. Good service from the front desk, but the hotel itself has become a disappointment. Also, bad wifi connection.

  Decent stay, fair value

  Stayed here for a night as was attending a wedding nearby. As I wasn't expecting much for the hotel, I was actually happy with what I got. I booked the Family room and it was much bigger than expected. It easily and comfortably fit 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. It also had space for a sofa set with coffee table and a walk in closet and the bathroom. Though we had some problem with the aircon. The front desk quickly sent someone to assist us and was resolved. Cleanliness was okay. Didn't see anything particular to cause any unrest. A decent stay generally.

  I would not describe this as a hotel. Terrible!!

  Tried to check in. Booking lost so paid for the first night twice. When I needed to come back after a trip to Penang, the same thing happened. May be incompetence at the front desk or a Booking.com mess up. Not sure. Anyway, a hotel that rents rooms by the hour is best avoided. A brothel/sauna on the 1st floor tells the full story. Rooms are falling apart. Shower worked which was a bonus. Entrance is a disgrace and I would not feed by pets in the so called restaurant. Handles falling off the door to the pub tell a story. Had to have the airconditioner fixed twice, and was waiting for a fire to break out. If there were zero starts I would have used it. Avoid this place at all costs
