  Old property but decent hotel to stay in

  An old taxi uncle told me this hotel operates more than 20 years, but i think they did a renovation few years ago and it doesnt actually look that old. switched from another same price range hotel, Galerie hotel which is walking distance. glad i did. this hotel is way better other than they do not have self service washing machine nor dryer. Staff are polite and greets you with smiles every time you come back to hotel. breakfast are simple but most food are quite tasty. Room are cleaned properly everyday. walking distance to Maple park, and 1 busstop away from you can walk there maybe take you only 10 to 15 mins. only cons are towers although are clean, but a bit old. i would say this is an average hotel, but the service from staffs and their response to your request are efficient. definitely a choice for business stay, and i did see some families staying too.

  Reasonable place to stay in Taichung. Simple but nice enough buffet breakfast to accommodate a variety of tastes. Slightly outdated and probably overpriced for what it was. Excellent location for my purpose (which was business). Would consider staying again but would also consider alternatives

  Retro Experience - WONDERFUL

  This small hotel will take you back, when is the last time you had a room key? The hotel has only 30 rooms, all well laid out and very comfortable. It is on the main street in Taichung, yet the street noise is minimal. The staff is extremely attentive and polite WiFi is good and it is an easy place to get work done in your room. The food at the small restaurant is excellent and room service will consist of a team of people bringing your food steaming hot !! Retro styled and unique ; - highly recommend this establishment!!!

  Spacious room, convenient location, value for money

  We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. This small hotel provided an unexpectedly spacious room for us. In addition to 2 queen beds, the room had a lounge area with sofa, bar area and writing desk. There were 2 TVs, one in the lounge area and one in the bedroom. The bathroom was also spacious. Our package included breakfast which was reasonably good with varieties of food. We also tried dinner in the hotel. The food was good, but at that price there were other choices around the hotel. Hotel service was good and responded quickly to calls. Courtesy front desk was also impressive. The hotel is facing the main road, so it is very convenient to different types of transport. But yet the room was quiet and we did not feel any noise from the outside.

  Great Hotel

  Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights whilst visiting family and it was fantastic. Everything you could want in a hotel. Room was very spacious, clean, good amenities and comfy bed! Hotel staff were lovely and helped with questions and getting taxis. Breakfast had good hot and cold food options; more Asian cuisine over Western but it depends on your personal preference. Very convenient location for getting around and also close to the shopping malls. Could not hear any traffic noise once in the room which is perfect given it is located on a main road. Would stay here again next time we are in Taichung.
