    Amazing location, great food and service!

    Most TMB trekkers stop at Les Chapieux, but I would highly suggest skipping past and spending the night at Les Mottets. This place is a hidden gem. Located just beneath the Italian face of Mont Blanc, the views here are incredible! The beds were comfortable, rooms had 4 bunks per room. The food was absolutely fantastic! And after dinner, the owner came out with her accordion and played French national songs and the place went wild! So much fun!!! You'd be foolish to miss out on this.

    Location, location, location

    Location is perfect. Close to the skiing and right in town. Room was small but the service pretty good. Seems to be family run. Breakfast is pricey (we didn't eat dinner there). Had a stint without hot water which was fixed pretty quickly and had no internet for our stay, but that wasn't their fault. Seems the internet provider wasn't repairing things over the holidays. Oh well. In the end a little pricey for what you get but perfect location. It evens out.

    Overnight stay during alps cycle for fundraising event

    Authentic French hotel - good sized rooms. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The dinner was 4 courses and included in the half board and delicious. Breakfast was served early for us. 40 of us staying and all treated well, would definitely go again.

    Rustic and comfortable

    We arrived late October. Only place open in the whole town at this time of year so dont expect to eat out. Great views, stunning place to start your trip over the Alps. Good food, though restricted menu at this time of year. It is a bit rustic as harks back to the 80s and beyond. Comfy lounge with pool table. Although the hotel is a bit dated it is very clean with a helpful staff.
