  A good place to work

  I use to work as a singer, its been a long time a year of 1984, all the staff was so nice. I rmember when me and yolly, vangie use to work there. I save a lot of money. and meet my Son Father, his last name Ishikawa. but I lost contact with him.

  Comfortable room with open-air onsen and good food

  We stayed in the special room with open-air onsen. The room is comfortable and facility is good. We had dinner & breakfast in a room just for the two of us. Food is really good. However, it is very windy to use open-air bath/onsen in Winter and I guess it will be much nicer in Autmn & Spring. Overall, it is very good and will recommend to friend but will avoid the old wing.

  Japanese hotel

  We had a Japanese-style room with a wonderful Ocean view. We slept on tatami futon mattress. It wasn't very comfortable but it was really nice experience. We had a great dinner with a wide variety of Japanese foods. breakfast was not so good. The staff was helpful but many of them didn't speak English at all.

  Good Location

  I thought this hotel was in good location for looking around sights in Gamagori. We went to the " (hydrangea village) " that is less than 10 minutes walk from the bus stop "Katanara-Onsen". The information and service from the staff at this hotel is not bad. We could find much information of the option tours on the bulletin board around the entrance of elevator. I think if you ask their staffs something about the option tours they will kindly explain you about the detail. The description about Miya-Matsuri in the book which was in the guest room was very interesting. I could know that the Miya-Matsuri is the traditional and has become fountainheads of the power of people who live in this town. It would be nice if I could stay at this hotel in the festival season. I like the atmosphere of the inside of this hotel including the costume of their staffs.

  Ocean view Japanese hotel

  We were doing a trip around the Ise Bay and Gamagori is our first stop. Not a lot of choice of hotels around this area. We pick this one because of the free parking, onsen available, and ocean view from room. We selected the traditional room because we like the experience of sleeping on the tatami. The overall experience is good. The breakfast was nice. Lots of families as it's summer time. The onsen is also good.
