  Superb lunch

  This review is about the brasserie. I had a stop-over due to an appointment closeby and spent a couple of hours including enjoying lunch. The place was deserted at that moment in time and it stayed like this. Nonetheless, I was welcomed very warmly and attended to the whole time. Both the brasserie and the restaurant - the latter I had a look at when leaving - breath a very warm atmosphere and I can imagine having diner here is an excellent experience. The lunch menu had a lot of good choices. I took a shrimp cocktail which was superb both in taste and presentation. After that, I had the typical Dutch pee soup - homemade - and I can provide the same comment. Free wifi completed my very good experience at Antiek. I used to work in Venlo for ten years and never knew this place. Pity. When around, I would definitely return!

  A great delight to be in Hotel Restaurant Antiek

  What a good decision it was for me and a friend to have chosen Hotel Antiek in Helden. We were spoiled during our stay in several ways in this very special hotel.The warm and lovely personal who welcomed us during the three days.The atmosphere of the rooms of the hotel decorated with interesting antique objects and last but not least the perfect kitchen.The 3 course dinner was excellent.The tastes were superb and presentation as well. We can advise every travellor to visit this hotel and to feel so extremely welcomed by the whole team.And to have the sensation to feel yourself a spoiled guest! Erna Beumers Utrecht

  Nice setting, but poor room quality

  Setting is nice, hotel looks nice on the outside, also inside is "antiek" as they promise. However, the room was disappointing. Not clean, very small and very old (bit dirty) bathroom. The beds were old and not comfortable. Such a shame, we expected so much... Breakfast was not bad, basic. Environment is nice, there is a small town and lots of woods to walk in.

  Nice stuff, not so nice room.

  We were here on a romantic gateway and to say it all we received a Bongo voucher for an overnight. This could be the reason why we were given one of the oldest rooms (the hotel has newest renovated ones). Room was clean but the floor had a couple of holes covered by the carpet. It was also located on top of the restaurant so quite noisy. The staff was really nice though and the breakfast quite good for the very low price. Recommended for short stays.

  Absolutely not again!!

  Old and in very bad condition hotel at 60 km from Maastricht. A good looking hotel only from outside. The rooms are old. The pavement is full of holes but cover with carpets. They tryed to ask me 51 Euro more because of my time arrival: 11 pm. Incredibile!
