  The Highest hotel in Central Europe

  The location is stunning. The hotel facilities are basic enough, but overall experience is so worth it! To view the sunset over the mountains from Rotunda hotel bar and sunrise from your bedroom room is priceless!

  Magical

  We just spent two nights here at the top of the mountain. The service, in reception and in the restaurant, was excellent - very welcoming and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb and the walks in either direction were stunning. The room was very comfortable and warm - couldn't be faulted really. We even got to see the view on the second evening as the clouds dispersed while we were having dinner. The parking arrangement with the Hotel Grand also worked well. The only problem we had was deciding to walk to the funicular instead of getting a ticket and going up the chair lift. There was nowhere open to buy tickets for the funicular or cable car further up the hill. Luckily, friendly staff let us go up for free rather than having to go back to the start to get tickets.

  Magical night

  We just came back from our one night stay in Rotunda hotel Rand it was wonderful! A massive thanks to our waiter Marek who cared abour us all night. He was proffesional, friendly and cares about every detail to make our stay brilliant!

  Amazing unusual stay!

  We stayed here 1 night (thats enough if you have kids) with our 2 young kids and loved it. Stunning views, nice hotel and just different to the usual hotels you stay in. Food is pricey (but your literally at the top of a mountain so its not unexpected) but delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. NOTE: you have to take a ski lift, then a funicular and then a cable car to get to the hotel or walk up Chopok. Check the times and plan your arrival carefully.

  Restaurant and Café is located on the second floor, reachable by stairs or a lift. Toilets can be found on the first floor. Restaurant operates á la carte and it is the best practice to make a reservation ahead at +421910741460. You will be welcomed by the floor manager, you can leave your jackets and helmets in a closet behind the bar on the right side. They offer also the hotel slippers you can change into for example from your ski boots. If you book a table number 11, you can use a hanger nearby. They offer high seat for children, so far I haven't noticed children's play area. Selection of meals is not wide but in general it's very tasty, I would appreciate more vegan options so it suits dietary needs or health restrictions. Certain foods are available till 10am e.g. sandwich or waffles. They have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
