  Basic hotel for stop-over

  Central hotel with good parking. Friendly receptionist. He recommended a restaurant and rang to book it for us. Unfortunately he left an answer phone message and when we arrived the restaurant was closed. Room basic but clean, no tea making facilities; extractor fan in bathroom disconnected. Reasonable breakfast. Prices fair. Wifi weak signal. Summary: basic hotel, no frills , friendly staff who try to help.

  Good value hotel in middle of town

  The room was well appointed, everything you would expect. The bathroom only had a shower head over the bath, and it was rather weirdly positioned in the centre of the bath rather than the end. The welcome we received was good. The hotel was quiet - the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Perhaps the owner could consider proving tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. The breakfast was self service with a very good selection to choose from.

  Cheap and Cheerful

  Room was ok but getting on a bit. It could do with some modernisation to say the least. Distance to city centre is good. Breakfast was horrendous or rather a joke taken in account what was on offer. If breakfast is a criteria when selecting a hotel, this one is not for you.

  Perfectly pleasant place

  Modern building in a quiet quarter of this nice town. Modern but a little quirky. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast not as good as it might be ( plenty of alternatives in town. Very nice and chatty owner: do take his recommendations where to eat. Excellent starting point for the nearby countryside.

  Overpriced and nothing special!

  We stayed here last Sunday, having discovered that another hotel we had booked in the area was closed, despite having a confirmation from the Logis Website. The hotelier had kindly provided an access code by email and left the room key on the Reception desk as the hotel was closed till 7pm. The hotel has a secure car park but that costs 6; the area is very quiet so we decided to park directly opposite the hotel and there was no problem in that. The room was clean and comfortable enough but old-fashioned and in dire need of refurbishment. There were various holes in the wall where items had previously been attached. The bath was scruffy and had chipped porcelain and the toilet flush didn't cut off so the button had to be "jiggled" to stop the water running. Very oddly the bathroom light switch was by the room door, not outside the bathroom door! There were no tea-making facilities. The WiFi worked well, once I had discovered from the hotelier that a password is needed despite information in a folder in the room saying it isn't. The hotelier is very pleasant and chatty and recommended where to eat: La Brocéliande, a crêperie, apparently the only decent place to eat on a Sunday evening. It was very good but expensive. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. However, given the state of the room, the price of 89 was very poor value.
