  A "motel" close to Kuopio

  A "motel" from the -60:ies which you still can see. Very close to the highway and close to the railway. Friendly staff. Very simple room - no AirCondition and no water kettle. Price level in the restaurant questionable. Walking distance to a shopping mall (Alko, Farmacy, food).

  Very good value, excellent location at a lakeside

  We stayed just for a quick sleep-over when travelling to Lapland. The rooms are spacious with big beds and it was great to be able to drive close to your room, very easy access. We were travelling with dogs, and the beautiful location gives great opportunities for walks. The breakfast was a surprise as there was nice healthy options too, like berries (no sugar added) and fresh fruit. The staff were very helpful too.

  Old fashioned hotel outside of the town

  We spend here just one night when travelling forward. Room was spacious, but old fashioned. Hotel locate about 5 km from downtown and outside of the city of Kuopio. There is highway and railway near of this hotel which means that there is almost all time some kind of noise. Breakfast was good with local twist.

  Row house hotel near highway

  Interesting row house construction - you get your car right in front of your room door! Clean and nicely updated though originating from the the 70's. I had no neighbors so I don't know how the sounds come through the walls. Go for a jog in the nearby preserve area and then try dipping into the lake from sauna! Pity that the noise from the near-passing highway destroys the idyll. Very friendly staff! House burger was tasty and brought to table by the chef himself as he noticed that the waitresses were busy.There was comprehensive breakfast buffet in the morning.

  Good food, near Motorway and lake.

  Very old style of hotel. It's still renovated of some areas. Food was good and service also good. Place is near motorway and near lake Iso-Valkeinen. There is free parking. Toilets were clean and staff did care of customers. If you need budjet stay is place to be.
