  What a Dump

  Do not stay at this hotel. I arrived late and after waiting 30mins for the free shuttle I was on my way. Tried to get a drink from the bar to take to my room at 11-05pm but was told that the bar closed at 11pm so no service. The room itself was rubbish, very tired, and in need of major refurbishment. The worst thing was the non existant air conditioning, it was very warm and the ac was terrible, no cold air coming out atall. Also the bed had quilts on them which was ridicoulous in temperatures of over 30 degrees. I will never be back. PS the free shuttle to & from the airport was the best thing about the hotel.

  Great sleep in quality bedding

  A lack of signage in Blotzheim meant that we drove around quite a bit looking for the Hotel but we eventually came across it and parked in the small car park at the front. We were greeted by a young lady with a lap top who asked if we wanted to check in and when we said yes invited us to sit on one of the sofas that were arranged there. Very casual. She gave us our key and directions to where we could find several restaurants a short walk away at a Centre Commercial because the Hotel did not have a restaurant. Later, when we returned we took our bags up to our room on the first floor and were pleased to find that the room looked as if it had been recently renovated as everything appeared to be new. The bedding on the king-sized bed was lovely and the pillows were comfortable so much so that I had one of the best sleeps. Great in fact and that is unusual for me. The shower was powerful with plentiful hot water. My bugbear was not having a mirror near to an electrical socket to plug the hairdryer into. I ended up stretching the cord from the socket and trying to look in the bathroom mirror. A man must have designed the layout! Breakfast was in a separate area off reception and was well displayed with a good choice of cheeses and meats. The bread was quite disappointing though as the french stick was not very fresh. The fresh fruit platter was delicious. All in all, a good stop and we would definitely stay here again if we came by in the future.

  Very convenient for Basel Mulhouse Freiburg Euro Airport

  Rooms were fine, the restaurant was nice, and we had a decent dinner. The location seemed a bit strange, in the middle of an older city with not much around it. Hotel provided a free shuttle to the airport (in our case, a cab both ways). Staff was helpful.

  convenient and comfotable

  Arrived in Basel on direct flight from Montreal, knowing we were a day early for our Rhine River Cruise. Instructions before hand from hotel guided us to Information desk in airport and they phoned the hotel. Then out to shuttle service area and within 5 minutes our free shuttle service (a cab) arrived for us. Short trip to hotel and we settled in to relax. Enjoyed a nice dinner and the next morning the hotel arranged a taxi to take us to the dock to board the river boat. This whole arrangement couldn't have been smoother. The hotel was so very helpful in all aspects. Terrific.

  Right on the french Swiss border

  Perfect for a stay over when travelling from UK through Switzerland. Comfortable and clean, functional rooms. Breakfast as always was very good and very fresh. Very polite and welcoming team too. Thank you
