  Love the location!

  Decided to book this hotel despite limited reviews - and I am glad I did! The hotel is located within working distance from the new downtown area and just opp shilla duty free mall. Hotel appears to be new and hence the room is new and clean with decent size. Thumbs up!

  Still acceptable

  Stayed for 2 nites. I tink most of the Staffs doesn't know how to speak English and Chinese(selected staff). And they wasn't friendly, they got to improve it. Other then that, everything is great. Location is great, near 7/11 and airport. Cab fare is less den 5000won. Rooms are spacious, clean and big. Parking abit troublesome for compact cars, need to park in the lift. But in charge wasn't always there, it makes me go up the lobby to ask the staff to get him. Overall still acceptable

  Has potential but service was super poor!

  This hotel is fairly new hence the limited reviews. Decided to try it as price was ok and location seems alright too. Most importantly, it was near the airport and we didn't want to travel far as we were on a late flight. Arrived at the hotel and discovered the reception is not at the lobby. Pretty deserted and hotel looked a bit clinical. Had to take a lift up. The reception was manned by 1 person and a very very blur person!! Gave him my booking voucher and he went into a small room to check on the computer. Came out after 5 minutes and looked so confused and agitated that it worried us no end. He spoke close to no English hence it was near impossible to communicate, but I think he could understand and not speak. Apparently, he could only see 1 room in the system whereas I booked 2 rooms. He even asked me to see his computer to verify my booking. OMG!! It was so frustrating and worrying as we were tired after such a long journey and just wanted to get to our rooms. He then took another 10 minutes and when we asked him what the problem was, he just looked more upset and keep saying wait wait...After another 5 minutes he then said ok, and gave us our card key. Went up to rooms and discovered they were triple rooms, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Well, looks like he upgraded us due to a mistake? Anyway, the room was acceptable and comfortable and has all the amenities of a 4 star hotel and free water bottles were provided. Clean and comfy as it was new. However, we were not very happy as when we came back after our tour around the island, the rooms were not cleaned and tidied. We called for top up water bottles and clean towels and the same reception guy appeared at our door. OMG, one man show?? He brought towels and water bottles but when we asked him about tidying the room, he said NO house keeping....What?? Hotel with no housekeeping? Anyway, hotel room is acceptable, now to location. Those who loves duty free shopping would love the hotel as it is just opposite Shilla Duty Free Departmental Store. However, stuff are high end and very expensive. Only thing worth buying was cosmetics on the top floor. A broad range were available and at good discounts. We realised it was cheaper after comparing with Seoul prices later. As for food, just a 10 mins walk away was the hub and happening area and plenty of eateries are available especially the famous black pork of Jeju. Good value too as we tried one BBQ restaurant which was run by very young people and quite hip. Good and cheap, (can't remember the name, sorry). Just look out for the crowd as it was packed. The hotel has a restaurant on the same level as the reception but it was quite confusing as it has a different name (i.e. the restaurant was like run by another proprietor) and they provide buffet breakfast at KRW10,000 per pax. Looked decent but we didn't eat there. However, beware that Jeju is quite dead in the early morning and it was quite difficult to find an eatery for breakfast so maybe should give this hotel restaurant a try. Last day, thankfully, the reception has changed staff. 2 guys and this time, they were more communicative and helpful. Spoke mandarin and we managed to get them to call a jumbo taxi for us to go to the airport. For that, I would rate the hotel as acceptable.

  Acceptable but weird

  I stay at this hotel for 2 night, first think on my mind is the location really good and near if you want to get shopping and restaurant. But the weird one is, i know this month is spring and the temparature is cold maybe 7 degress at night BUT its weird that the aircon is OFF totally OFF because of centralize aircon and this hotel suddenly SWITCH OFF the aircon. There's a aircon temperature remote so you can manage the temperature. And the front office did not give us any information about this. This is the first time in my life stayin at hotel without any aircon eventhough the temperature outside is 7 degress. Really is so weird for me Thanks

  Beautiful 2 bedroom Suite with Jacuzzi

  There were not many reviews of this hotel but we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful 2 bedroom Royal Suite which also has a separate living room. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub with jacuzzi functions. Room was very modern, very new and comfortable. There is also a balcony with outdoor dining and chairs. This hotel is really a hidden gem. Location is fantastic as it is in the heart of the new downtown. Issac Toast is within 5 mins walk, Paris Baguette and other sports shops on the main shopping street is 10 mins walk away. Best part is the price for the Royal Suite was very reasonable when we booked from Agoda. Highly recommended for families who will appreciate the apartment like Royal Suite. They also have other rooms which come with bunk beds. The only downside is the hotel uses a car lift to park your car. And it takes a few minutes to retrieve your car. The staff in charge of the car lift was very friendly and ensured that we knew how to retrieve the car from the car lift. Thumbs up for the great service!
