  Overpriced homestay

  Frustration for a lot of money. 1300THB w/o breakfast, old and various interior, no nice. Our room was called wooden with garden view. There is no garden, just a few shrubs. Reality is far away from pictures on www. Room was clean and big with another room as living room, aircon ok, bathroom ok, complimentary water, cofee and tea daily, microwave oven. We dont have any experience with others rooms, but as I wrote, our looks very cheap. By walking distance is mini BigC and bridge over river to night market, but just during weekend. One positive on the end. Perfect massage salon just front of Kanechas, oposite side of street, go there! Conclusion: overpriced homestay, no recommedation. For that price must be accommodation on much much higher level!!!

  The family that runs this is so nice and gracious.

  We stayed for a week at the end of June. After the first night sleeping on the Thai bed, I was ready to look for another place to stay. I didnt sleep much at all and didnt know the single bed in the room wasnt Thai style. My wife mentioned to the manager that I didnt sleep, a I couldnt believe, she went out a bought a mattress topper for the bed. What a nice gesture ! And it was so nice and comfortable ! Thats just some idea how nice the father, daughter are that own/run the place ! We had the the Water House and it was perfect for our family of four. One huge bedroom with a bathroom and one big bedroom with a bathroom. Plenty of hot water, strong WiFi and fans and ac in the bedrooms. We also had a two level sitting and dining room outside of our bedrooms that was private and nice to eat and sit at. I enjoyed sitting on the home-stays breakfast deck in the mornings looking at the river, bridge, and people going by and the seclusion of the deck. We check in late and was given maps and some instructions about the rooms. After that they let us be for the most part. But what ever we needed or wanted, they made arrangements for it. Rental scooter, helmets, massage location, mosquito tennis racket, soap, water, help parking and turning the car around, where to get/find things, anything ! The Water House really gave you a lot of space for the money and I was happy I chose it over the Wooden House with the futons and higher steps to get to climb. It wasnt a newer accommodation, but it was quite comfortable for the most part. I was told one of the ac units in the master bed room was only working in manual mode, I never did figured out how to adjust it manually, and I bumped my head on the top threshold of the bathroom doorway of the room my kids were sharing, (doorway was shorter than me), and you had to remember the light switch was outside the bathrooms, but other than that, this was a great place to stay and I think this side of the river make for a nicer area to stay/spend time. We thank the owner and his lovely daughter for taking care of us so well. And the staff for cleaning up and washing the dishes so well as we brought in a lot of our meals. They also had a large refrigerator at our accommodation that was new and worked well. And they will pick you up and return you to the train/bus station too if need be. And they have other/newer accommodations too. One brand new Wooden House with a river view currently being built. This homestay work out great for us. Would recommend and come again. Was a nice place to stay with a good location. Well worth it !

  Excellent in every way

  A really lovely guesthouse. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The location is perfect on the banks of the Wang with a breakfast veranda looking out over the river. Kanecha and her parents are welcoming, kind and very helpful. Tea, coffee and toast available free all day. Exceptional value for money too.

  Wow just wow

  What an amazing place! Just love it ! The room is incredible the bed is awesome ! It is spotless , it's in an amazing location on the banks of the river with a dining area overlooking the river , you can cook yourself up something if you want the outdoor weekend market is just on the other side of the river very easy walk old town is also right there , an amazing set of temples are right beside the little bridge as well

  GOOD LOCATION

  Peace full place by the river. Stayed in a big room,with 2 beds. Beds a bit hard as usual. Bath room ok. Good aircondition. Parking right outside the room on same level. Cafeteria with breakfast close to the river, with good view. Helpful staff. Good English speaking. All over an Ok place to stay. Rekkomending.
