  Buen lugar para pasar la noche

  Buena base para explorar el Coorong National Park. No hay mucho alojamiento en la zona y menos aún a precios razonables. El Kingston Lobster Motel está muy bien situado junto a la gasolinera de Kingston SE en el cruce de carreteras. Justo al lado de la langosta gigante. Os doy estas referencias porque si llegáis de noche y aunque llevéis el navegador, no es fácil de localizar ya que las coordenadas gps son erróneas. El motel es muy correcto. Las habitaciones cómodas, espaciosas y con todo lo necesario. El personal es muy amable. En definitiva, una relación calidad-precio excelente.

  Surprise!

  They are in the process of doing all the rooms and we were one of the lucky ones who stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was beautiful! Clean, stylish, great appliances, nice bathroom, and a large TV. Nice centre court to allow the dog to play, swimming pool looked nice and clean, but we did not use it this time. Directly across the bakery and walking distance to the fuel station/subway and right next door to the big lobster! Easy check in/out. Highly recommended, and will be back!

  Poor Customer Service

  This review does not intend to provide a comprehensive review of my stay in the motel. However, I'd like to share my unpleasant experience with staff members at the motel. So I've made a non-refundable booking on Booking.com but had to cancel my stay in this motel due to Covid outbreak in Melbourne, Australia. I sought for a waive on my cancellation fee but was refused, which I'm actually OK with although two other hotels kindly decided to waive my fee. However, the whole process of trying to call the staff member to clarify some questions made me very upset and decided to share this experience: 1. The motel was very slow in response to my booking request, which Booking.com gave them 24 hours to respond but I didn't get any reply via email or message. Only after I complained to Booking.com and asked them to intervene, did I got a response promptly. 2. Everytime I rang the motel, the staff member was very impatient, interrupted my talk during the first 10 seconds of our phone call and claimed that "she's too busy right now and cannot take this phone call, she'll get back to my response soon", which didn't happen. 3. After two failed phone call to remind them respond to my request, I decided to complain to Booking.com and 2 mins after their intervention, the motel staff responded to my request. 4. During my last phone call, which was intending to clarify my eligiblity of asking for a travel credit, I was told by the staff member's manager that I've been recorded (without my consent in advance) and implied that I was wasting their time "You're taking other customer's time", even though most of my phone call were less than 1 min, thanks to the very unprofessional interruption of the motel staff member. Having no intention to say this motel is terrible or anything, I do want to remind those travellers who are Covid-refund minded to be aware of such lengthy, unnecessary and unprofessional experience. Especially when a motel doesn't even want to spare 2 mins to respond to your legit questions since we all face COVID cancellations for the first time in our lives.

  Get what ya pay for

  Great customer service, comfy rooms, good for a few nights. Only suggestion I would make was for a microwave, but besides that pool was good and the grass area brilliant for the puppy to have a play. All over an enjoyable time.

  Very nice and comfy

  Really nice and freshly refurbed room. Fitted us in last minute and made booking and checking in really easy. Was very helpful and will book again If in the area. On the main road but was quite. .....
