  A Needed Break

  I wanted to get away from all the stress at work and staying at this hotel was the right thing to do. the rooms are large and with a view of nature because it is beside a golf course. It has a nice pool but they had a wedding party unfortunately on one of the nights that I stayed there but not too noisy as the doors are metal(?). Very safe, private, and wonderful comfy queen beds! Good value as they were on 50% off.

  Nice Warm Pool

  What I remember of this hotel is that it is very quiet, secluded, private and cozy. It has spacious rooms with 2 double sized beds. But most especially, the pool is warmed. Very few hotels offer a pool with a warmer and I appreciate this.

  Aging, thus losing its glory

  With Lumbia Airport no longer in operation, the hotel now appeared to be very far from the new Lagindingan airport. Then the way to get here is already circuitous. With less number of guests, the hotel seemed losing its revenue-generation activities to adequately maintained the facilities. It now appeared pale, aging, and dying. But mind you, the rooms are huge and recommendable for family accommodation. The surrounding is quiet, a perfect escape from hassles and bustles of city streets. The location is so nature-oriented with golf course as the wonderful view.

  chosen venue for two seminars

  In a span of a week, I had two different hosts choose Hotel Koresco for the venue for my seminars. One host had her group based in the same city (Cagayan de Oro City); the other was based in a neighboring province (Lanao del Norte). I can only guess that they got a very good deal with hotel management as they had 50 and 100 participants, respectively. I prefer the bigger function room that was used for the second group. Wifi was stronger there; it was fluctuating in the smaller function room. I was privileged to be put in two big rooms; the first was a suite. Admittedly, I didn't have to be put in such big rooms. It was obvious though that not much was being spent on maintaining the facilities and equipment. We were able to use the pool for our group activity but the water in it was no longer very clear. Obviously, it had not been changed, only cleaned, for some time. Service by the staff was above average, especially that of the waiters.

  Seminar and Convention Venue

  This place is very ideal for seminars and conventions. The mall nearest to this place is SM Mall. You can reflect yourself in this place as it very far from maddening crowd of a city. The food is good.
