  Very good hotel in Bad Ragatz

  Spent some days with friends in this hotel in the city center of Bad Ragatz. Rooms are nice and not too small, if you plan to spend some days in this area this hotel is a good candidate, Breakfast buffet is good and the restaurant propose some very good choices. Only drawback is that there is no lift, but it is not a tall building ;-)

  Central hotel with decent facilities

  We stayed here for one night in August. We chose this hotel because it was not too expensive, but had all the facilities that we needed. We chose a room with shower and toilet, so we stayed in the 3rd floor (no lift), but you have other (less expensive) options. The hotel was not too crowded and the check in was done in the restaurant, which seemed a bit awkward, as there were people having a meal at the same time. However, we understood that there is not an actual entrance to the Hotel, and the staff was really nice, so everything went smoothly. The hotel is central and, if you go by car, you will have to park in the town's central parking a few minutes away (0,5 CHF per hour after 7pm). The room has a decent size but when we went to sleep, there was a constant mechanical noise that bothered us a little bit: we couldn't understand if it was coming from the restaurant or perhaps the laundry room. The breakfast the next morning was good and simple: big variety of bread and croissant, with jam and butter, muesli and juices. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Therme and if you decide to walk to the Tamina Gorge, you are already at the entrance of the pedestrian path.

  Close to Tamina spa, nice little place, but on noisy road

  It was a short stay for a couple of nights on our trip to visit Tamina spa and do some hiking in between. Generally a nice clean hotel with minimum amenities (eg no AC, slow WiFi). Good breakfast with reasonable variety. However, the hotel is located on a central road and the noise from the road, although not constant (ie one car per minute) could be a turn off in the evening or early morning. Some staff (a lady serving breakfast) did not speak English but it did not seem to be a big problem as other guests were able to translate our requests. Not a great hotel, but not a bad one either. Does the job.

  Quaint Hotel Perfectly Located

  My husband and I stayed here for a night on our anniversary weekend and it was the perfect little spot. Clean and well decorated with the most comfortable bed!! This was great after a day of skiing nearby. The lady who runs the place is friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. Breakfast was a great continental buffet with delicious coffee. The hotel is perfectly located for the Thermal baths, just a short walk away. There is also free parking which was great. All in all a great little hotel that we really enjoyed!

  Reunion of the Forestry Students 1972

  We stayed at the hotel Krone for a night as a group of seven forestry engineers who graduated in 1972. This is a typical small Swiss hotel with well appointed rooms, good beds and good showers. Wifi worked very well and there was also a TV which we did not use. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the check in process was no problem at all. We had dinner at the hotel, the room was set out beautifully, and the food was delicious. Service was a bit casual, but very friendly and once we had some red wine to toast our time together everyone was very happy. Breakfast was generous with cheese, Aufschnitt, many choices of bread and good strong coffee. The central location of the hotel is a real bonus, not far from the train station, very close to the thermal baths as well as to hiking routes and the Postauto. Highly recommendable
