  Loved it but not for people that are scared of dogs

  I loved staying there, from the view to the farmhouse feel on the inside of the cottage, we really have nothing to complain about, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you can possibly need! as well as a complimentary bottle of red wine. The only problem was the one dog snapped at me and i got a big fright, i am not scared of dogs as I have several of my own. I can just imagine if you dont like or are scared of dogs or have very little kiddies this will not be ideal. I will definately be back

  Well located, great accommodation, lovely staff

  We return again, and again to La Galiniere, you are well looked after, whilst also being left alone to enjoy your stay in peace. We have stayed in both cottages and they are both spotless and well appointed. The grounds are attractive and everything is on your doorstep.

  Enjoyed stay on wine farm.

  Beautiful, neat, clean and everything you require. Close access to the town and good value for money. Very friendly and supportive host. Enjoyed the short stay on the wine farm. Will definitely stay at La Galiniere when we are in Franschhoek again.

  Highly Recommended

  We had a short two-day stay. The location was perfect - 3 minutes from town. We enjoyed the pool that has a gorgeous view of the mountain and the surroundings. Affordable luxury. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

  Pleasant stay

  Nicely equipped cottage. An electric blanket and/or winter sheets would have been nice, given how cold it was. There was a problem with the water - it didn't heat up, but Rietta was very responsive and managed to sort it out the next day.
