  Quaint and serviceable.

  This was our haunt for a one day flying visit to Miyajima. We had thought we had booked the Live Max on Miyajima, but as luck would have it this location suited our plans better. This hotel is quite small, with spacious comfortable rooms. Ours had a private spa (onsen) on the balcony. Unusual for many of the hotels we have stayed at here it also had a large screen tv. We also used the larger public onsens. As always they were scrupulously clean and delightful. Our room rate included breakfast and dinner. We opted for the Japanese breakfast which was delicious. Dinner was also lovely. It was the typical dinner set with sashimi, tempura, small plates of pickles, and a delicious hot pot heated on the table with seafood, kimchi and vegetables. The staff were terrific and we enjoyed our stay.

  Comfortable stay with good service

  We are a group of 3 to stay here for a night for visiting Miyajima. The location is good and just few minutes walk to the main street. The room with onsen was comfortable and the beds provided a good sleep to us. I also visited the indoor public bath and it was satisfactory. However, due to the raining, I couldn't try the outdoor onsen and I wasn't sure if there was a changing room there. We didn't join the plan to have dinner but I tried the breakfast. The buffet breakfast was not bad and provided a large variety. The service was so good. Before check-in, we left our luggage at the reception and they sent to our room when ready. When check-out, there was heavy rain, the staff was worried about us and helped to call taxi for us. I will stay here again when visiting Miyajima next time.

  Hotel with a natural onsen overlooking the great torii gate

  One of the rare hotels thats equipped with a natural onsen on Miyajima. The best thing is you can see the great torii gate from the onsen both in the morning and at night while enjoying the natural onsen. There is a courtyard pool, massage and two other onsens. Its a perfect hotel to relax and recover.

  The perfect stay

  Swimming pool, jacuzzi, onsen and a perfect location, closed to the main touristic area! The rooms are well decorated in a japanese style and perfectly clean. Moreover, we could use kimonos and pyjamas in the hotel or outside. Everything was there for us to feel confortable.

  Overpriced for what you get.

  The hotel facilities are decent and the desk staff try very hard to accomodate your needs, despite a lack of English. But many things at this hotel felt like corners were cut and done on a budget. We stayed in the Japanese style rooms and found out on arrival that we had to make our own beds. The quality of breakfast was disappointing and we felt rather ripped off for the price we paid. The location was fine, once you worked out how to walk to the hotel from the ferry terminal.
