Very good
To be fair, Im writing this sat on a balcony in the hotel. The food is excellent. The location is excellent. The weather is excellent. The location is excellent. The staff are excellent. The rooms are excellent. I dont really have a bad word to say. Shout out to the animation team; Clemence, Florence, Simone and Rebecca - who are adorable. They cater for as many languages as they possibly can; English, French and German from what Ive seen. They are are a lovely team, very good at their job. All In all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent week away in the sunshine
We booked our week away at last minute and didnt really know what to expect but honestly everything has been spot on. Firstly this hotel is better then many others I have stayed in because of the lovely staff that work within. From the reception, to the bar and restaurant, they are all very friendly and always make an effort to talk to us. I must also give a special mention to the animation team, they have had some great activities throughout our stay that has kept us entertained and the evening entertainment has been great all week also. They are very friendly and always smiling. They were like friends during our stay. The food within the restaurant caters for everyone. The hotel itself has also taken good measures to combat COVID-19 without it taking anything away from your holiday. The resort of Gouves is rather quite, however Covid has not helped with this. There is a lovely sandy beach about 200m away and the coastline is lovely for an evening stroll. There is plenty of activities to do at the hotel itself, with two pools, table tennis, tennis, basketball, french bowls and many more. All in all this hotel has been one of the best all inclusive hotels I have stayed in as it caters for all. Many thanks and hope to see you all soon

Perfect holiday
Just returned from two excellent weeks in this hotel. Cant fault it at all. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean with hand gels and sanitiser everywhere, felt safer during this difficult time than we do back in the UK. The quality of food and cleanliness of the dining room was excellent. The rooms were of a good size with a fridge TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The animation team were excellent headed up by Florence and Clemence who always made time for everyone. All in all a well run friendly hotel which I cant praise enough, would totally recommend this to anyone. Looking forward to returning next year.

Great 2 weeks . All covid safe
What a great couple of weeks. The hotel is all covid safe hand sanitiser everywhere. All staff wear masks to protect the guests. The animation team great clemence (sorry if spelt wrong) had us in stitches with laughter during our aqua aerobics (tour de Yorkshire) . Much thanks to nino and co for the great service in the restaurant always cleaning surfaces down after each family left the seats. A big shout out to natasha the very friendly lady serving drinks at the bar. All staff work very long hours. I'd say be patient with the busy staff serving food on the restaurant. My one negative for me im a gin drinker and the local gin wasn't for me yuk. I felt safer there than here in UK the shop owner over the road told me there has only been 6 cases of covid reported since the beginning of the covid .

A Fantastic Holiday Thanks to the Team at the Magda Hotel Gouves Crete
This family run Hotel is a great a gem on the Island of Crete the team led by Maria are fantastic and always makes you feel its a home from home. During this time of Covid the hotel has adapted well to look after the staff and guests alike. This hotel is well looked after with a ethos of providing a perfect guest experience. Myself and my wife Heather have being enjoyed making the Hotel a place for our annual holiday because of the warmth and dedication to the Customer experience they have a dedicated staff team that have are there year after year. The accommodation is great with a restaurant and bar caters for all tastes and all nationalities. The animation team is great and well encouraging team spirit to get all the guests involved in the daily activities. Again I count the team at the Magda as friends and look forward to seeing them again in the future. For the British tourist this is worth visiting. Thanks for a wonderful time in Crete 2020 Steven and Heather for Scotland
