  Sunflower can also be called "Girasole" or "Maison De Fleurs" or "apartment Maison De Fleur" We booked an apartment at Girasole complex to stay for one week and when arrived the apartment was not the same as in photo (as now we know - there are quiet a few apartments in this complex). They lied about wifi, there is NO wifi in this apartment. The days were sunny and still and still no wifi for 7 days. We complained and still nothing could be done as the apt is 141 steps up a mountain and is clearly out of range. The shower ran out of hot water after one quick shower and my partner was forced to pay to use the shower at the local gym on a regular basis. The TV didn't work and the screen was a pink colour. TV is clearly old from the 1980s and needs to be replaced. The apt was dirty, basic and sparsely furnished ( some of the furniture was broken and unsafe ). There are 141 steps to this apt and if we had know would not have booked it. The bed squeaks and mattress lumpy. Some lights don't have globes in them and the stove had a broken ignition button and the two old portable gas igniters from the two dollar shop didn't work and clearly had run out of gas long ago, hence we needed to buy matches to light the stove. The limited tacky kitchen utensils were dirty and we needed to wash them by hand before use. This was an awful experience and was glad when the week was up. The people who run this complex know the situation and poor state and don't care and was just after booking at any cost. Welcome to Maiori ....stay elsewhere !

  Perfect stay thank you Giulia

  Giulia was great and offered generously her assistance .the house rented was perfect and we loved both the stay and Giulia professionalism and her answer to what we need Thank u Giulia very much and thank you the owner of the house of the painting because the house is very nice and very clean with beautiful terrace and breathtaking view .

  Great location, amazing large terrace,beautiful view.

  Maiori is beautiful and clean. Nice people, Giulia was very friendly and professional. Apt would need bit of update, but we had positive experience overall. Good safe location, close to shops and nice beach.

  Disappointment

  The apartment is not the same as in the photos. There are 130 stairs to reach the apartment. This is not well indicated on the website. The apartment was overrun with ants. The owners were kind to try to solve the problem but it was a great inconvenience because they were everywhere, even in my suitcase, I also took them home. Maiori is wonderful, the owner is very kind but the apartment in these conditions is indecent

  Maison de Fleurs

  First Maiori is a good place to spend wonderful holiday at Amalfi Cost. However the pace I stayed with my wife would be acceptable If air condition would work along with better wi fi which work only outside the apparment . For that we nedded to go out for the terrace which is a nice pace to have morning coffe or afternoon lunch. We read on different sites that a/c is everywhere while the owner when w arrived told us that it was not working already for some time. We paid for that so it was unacceptable. Due to that fact we could hardly sleep as without a/c You have to open Windows on a quite by noisy road. Just couple of fans could not be instead. Also the bed matress is used and uncomfortabke. The same with wi fi which is important element while renting a holiday place and for that we had to buy at TIM a portale modem for 20 euros which worked perfectly. The apartament is about 500-600 m M to the beach, bus stop and which is positive very close to a supermarket. This is smali town so everywhere is close. Even to a Minori - the nearby town is just 900 m walk by the road but everybody does it like that. In Maiori You can buy Everything You need to live there. There are enough supermarkets, local grocery & bakery shops, good restaurants, bars and cafes. You can relatively easily reach other beautiful towns like Amalfi, Positano or Ravello with criwded buses or boats. Also Salerno, Sorrento or Capri can be also arranged without problems. Better avoid takiego a car- No pace to park, very busy, narrow roads. Generally holiday was great but If I knew the a/c did not work and wi fi so poor I would opt for another choice.
