  Great vacation and perfect birthday celebration

  It is a great hotel with excellent location, next to the beach and the shopping street. The staff is very friendly and the service is perfect in hotel and also in the restaurant. We have room on 5th floor, was quite big and perfectly clean every day during our stay.The food in restaurant always fresh and delicious. In 24th august we have celebrated our eight-year-old daughter's birthday, we have a delicios chocolate cake and nice surprise from the hotel. Thank you, Malibu for the perfect holiday! We will come again next year!

  An awkward smell in the room // not a 4 stars hotel

  During a 2 nights stay, I was unpleasantly surprised by the awkward smell in the room... Its too bad as the rooms are not bad in general, the meals are OK. But probably because the hotel is not used in the winter, the rooms are not well maintained and aired and is a dampness and weird moisture smell all the time. The location is very good, right in the center of Albena, which is a plus. But for sure, do not expect a 4 star hotel, probably a 3 stars one is a decent characterization.

  Great holidays

  Maybe this is not a luxurious 5* hotel. Maybe restaurant hasn't got Michelin star, and the pool could be bigger, but it was the best holiday for our family. Absolutely great, 5* animation team Dani, Deni, Filip, Miro, Rado and girls from mini club - great job guys! Cool atmosphere, nice people, very close to the beautiful beach. Food was ok, pool sufficient, rooms cleaned every Day. Albena is super, not crowded, after 23:00 is quiet. This is the first hotel that we will be back in next year.

  Great place by the sea!

  6 of us really enjoyed Hotel Malibu. The hotel is in a nice setting with an outdoor pool and very close to the beach. The beach is very beautiful with great views. The food was very good, lots of choice, the cooks always tried to add new stuff everyday, so a good variety. The rooms were nice, we had great views of the sea, and housekeeper came everyday to clean. The entertainment team were brilliant, very friendly, happy and always tried to get you involved. We had a very good laugh with them. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bar staff mainly by the pool and in the restaurant were great! very happy, the 2 in the lobby bar not so friendly and one thought he could dictate to us how many drinks we was allowed to get :( even though we were all inclusive so we should be entitled to an unlimited amount) and they kept running out of gin which was our fault too apparently. So stock was a bit of an issue. But apart from that, the hotel is lovely maybe not a 4 star but a very good 3! ****Just a note though, if you want nightlife this resort Albena shuts at 11pm which we didn't realise until we got there. So you have to find your own entertainment from 11pm. I think the resort is excellent for families with young children, but adults may find it too quiet. Thank you Hotel Malibu!

  Week of calm

  This is a nice hotel offering basic accommodation could do with a refurb. Also proper shower screens to stop water getting on tiled floors. Excellent all inclusive food choices..we did not go hungry. The sandy beaches are beautiful although late September the jellyfish arrive and lay on beaches... Plenty of sunbeds available, some linked to hotels some chargeable. Far quieter than Sunny Beach. People friendly, staff nice and some evening entertainment. Not much to do in evenings
