  Great Place to stay with Nice Conference Rooms

  Its a nice quit place for private/ business conferences or meetings. Nice space, fast internet and quite place.The place has friendly staff Charity Ngulube was awesome,always with a smile (nice nice) not forgetting Alfred, Jeff and Moses always available to provide exceptional service. The food is very nice and for any large event that's the right place.

  Tolerable for a Short Term Stay but Absolutely Hell for a Long Term Stay

  This hotel is literally falling apart. Can't count the number of doors that fell of during my stay here. Most lights in the room don't work unless you request them to change them. Towels are horribly stained and look dirty. There are no house keeping standards. One day you'll get soap, a toothbrush, a shower cap and everything nice. The next day you'll get nothing but one horribly stained and torn towel. After a while they also stopped changing bedding and towels. The worst part was when we started losing our valuables about a month into our stay. They didn't have enough safes when we got there and when they eventually provided them, the safes were locked. I'm sure they could have opened them if I had asked but I was completely over it at that point. The food is very hit or miss. One day you get a huge portion that you can't finish the next day you get a very small portion for the same amount. One day the food is well cooked and tastes good, the next day the food is too salty and a mess. I once found a live worm in my salad and the response I got from the kitchen was that some vegetables were not washed. I didn't even know what to do with that information. I also received raw chicken one day and since I had smothered it in ketchup, I didn't realize I was eating raw chicken until I was done. In conclusion, it's good for a one day but don't stay long. It's also not a great place for groups. When you're few you can pick the best rooms but when you're in a large group you have to take the terrible rooms as well. Door connecting to the veranda at the back doesn't always lock so make sure you get a room with a locking door.

  Hospitality is what wins guests at Mika!!!!!!!!!

  The gym is awesome. I have visited a number of Hotel but I guess the Gym at Mika is just spacious and well stocked with state of the art equipment. I recommend even non resident to join and sign for membership to keep health. The pool is a complete to the gym but only if you know how to swim. lol Visit Mika and enjoy your stay too! Regards

  EXCELLENT SERVICE

  I'm glad to have spent two nights at Mika Convention Centre. The service was everything I expected and the food was fresh. Thanks to Charity, the Events Coordinator for making our stay most comfortable. I think everyone who has or plans to have a workshop should call Mika ASAP. Thanks Mika.

  Horrible place to be

  I visited the place late Sunday Afternoon after Church. I just wanted to have a drink and dinner. I ordered the drinks, I was told that the did not have carbonated drinks and the staff are not polite at all saying, aah we do not stock over weekends because it is weekend and we are not expecting people. And most of the food on the menus was not there at all. Please go back to the drawing board, this is not the way to run a hotel.
