  Needed a Bed a the light wasn't on

  We stayed here 10 yearhs ago and it was OK?? The Pros: New fake hardwood floor, bed was OK, A/C unit was awesome... that's it. CONS: No coffee maker in room, went to the desk at 6:45 for coffee, locked up tighter than a drum. Huge hole in the wall where the shower head comes out. Paint peeling in the bathroom. Miss matched couch torn. TV was so pixelated you could barely see it. BUT... the oilfield guys are working in the area and it's a semi-clean , cheap room. But when they are gone, this place will die. $75.00 for the night. will not be back.

  Not Bad

  Not bad for the price, minimal interface with staff so I cant review that aspect, no breakfast but thats okay, does have a pool and its actually clean so thankful for that. This place is very convenient to Some gas stations and fast food restaurants.

  Bike Trip to the Hill Country

  Nothing fancy, no breakfast but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff at check in and out were nice and friendly. The hotel was what we needed for an overnight stay. Would recommend it. It was also close to a number of eating places.

  Nasty

  I was very disappointed in this property. I have stayed at many Motel 6 and this by far was the worse! The room was not clean, carpet was dirty and the bathroom was not clean. The heater stopped working and we were told that nothing could be done about it. We asked for extra blankets and were told there were no extras!

  Motel 6 in Gidding, Texas

  The motel 6 in Giddings is nothing fancy and very basic; however, it is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Jay and Sheila, the owners, are extremely accommodating and make every effort to attend to anything that their guests may need. We stay here for 2 weeks, twice a year for business. I even left clothes in the dresser drawer. Jay is mailing me those! I highly recommend Motel 6 Giddings .
