  great Business & liesure Hotel

  This is a superb hotel for the business traveler who has work closer to Nanshan dist in Shenzhen. When you arrive at Hong kong, before immigration go to the ferry counter. You will get a ferry to Sekhou in shenzhen. You baggage will be collected and dont have to pass through immigration saving you time especially in the early morning. The ferry crossing is 35minutes and no customs check on the way and at shenzhen immigration over in 5 minutes. This great hotel is 2 minutes walk from the ferry port. Now the hotel itself is quite amazing. great landscaped area and a great jogging track. Rooms are well furnished though needed renovation.Breakfast is a great spread by western standards. Courteous staff everywhere.Nice spa too. Food at all restaurants is great. All in all a great place to stay. I think after renovations it will be even better.

  Nanhai - Hotel of choice in Shekou

  If you are staying in Shekou, the Nan Hai hotel would be my choice, Good business hotel within walking distance to the Business District. This beds in this hotel are probably the hardest I have slept on. I like a firm bed so bonus for me.

  Just next to Shekou port!!!

  ive stayed in this hotel more than 10times as far as I can remember. and it's because the location is just next to the shekou port, which makes all my journey into shenzhen become much easier. I would fly into Hongkong and transfer to a ferry to shekou.totally hassle free. and then i can just walk to the hotel! of course aside of the location, there are many other plus points, staff are friendly, breakfast is great, room is a bit outdated but it is well maintained. i have nothing to complain about.

  Odd there are reviews for hotel closed

  The Nan Hai has been a landmark for 26 years. The furnishings showed it and lack of stable internet with Jo iwf I. It closed winter 2013 as next door is the new Hilton Nan Hai, So how recent reviews were made ? Granted the old place had a great breakfast, but no longer can you stay here today. My last visit was 2011 and moved for above reasons. Now what will be next here and when?

  not good

  very old hotel. not maintained. rooms are dirty. fittings are loose & not maintained. some staff co-operative some not. only benefit is near to fery. food average. they mix water with milk & coke. ...
