  Sinceramente no entiendo las buenas críticas de este hotel. Me guié por ellas para elegirlo y no acerté en absoluto. La habitación es super pequeña, no tiene nevera ni jarra para calentar café o agua (tiene delito en un país en el que el más básico hotel cuenta con ambas cosas), en el baño no entra casi el neceser y el aire acondicionado hace un ruido que impide dormir tranquilamente. Hay muchas opciones mejores en la ciudad por ese precio, no volveré a este hotel.

  Lack of sleep

  The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and the lobby is very welcoming. They offer free parking in the multi floor lot next door. We booked a room for two nights in a comfortable room. We didn't care for the stained wall paint which made the hallway look dirty. Everything was going smoothly until the 2nd night as we were awoken by a burning smell coming through the air ducts at 245am. We called the front desk because we couldn't shut off the air and it was making us worry that we can be poisoned from this. The front desk clerk couldn't do anything at 245am but said there was no alarms going off. We had to keep our room door ajar hoping for some fresh air from the hallway. The windows do not open so we suffered through the evening with little sleep. I received apologies from the front desk manager when we checked out but he should have given us the one free night because it was a lousy evening with no sleep. We left upset with the customer service response.

  Pleasant Stay

  Nicely renovated old hotel in the heart of downtown, which makes it very convenient. Booked a standard room with the king size bed and while it was fine for 1 night, I would definitely go for suite which has more room. Our room didn't have a coffee maker or fridge/microwave option, which was kind of drawback since I like having tea first thing in the morning. Bathroom was a little small with no space to put toiletries. The elevator in the parking garage that connects to the sky bridge wasn't allowing us to go to the skybridge area. Door man said it sometimes does that. On the positive side, the staff was really nice and we appreciated the more upscale bathroom amenities that were provided. The gift shop on the main level has some killer cowboy boots for women!

  Really nice

  We really enjoyed the lobby with the fire place. The Ten restaurant/lounge within the hotel was an unexpected pleasure. The downtown location provided easy access to many bars, casinos, and restaurants.

  Old world charm and graciousness

  We stayed at the Northern Hotel for four days and found it an exceptionally lovely experience. The room was very comfortable and elegant and the staff are so accommodating and helpful. They did everything they possibly could to make our stay exceptional. From check in to check out, every member of the staff was phenomenal. We ordered room service a few times and the food was always delicious. We also enjoyed the Ten Restaurant, and the cute little diner located in the hotel. The Northern Hotel is very conveniently located, with plenty of nice stores and restaurants within walking distance. They also offer free parking, with valet service. We are so impressed at the quality of staff at the Northern Hotel. We will definitely stay again next time I am in Billings.
