  Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable hotel.

  We stayed here for two nights in March 2013. *Please note: this stay was won as part of a competition. Therefore I did not pay for my accommodation, breakfasts or evening meals and can not comment on any aspect relating to costs* The first thing I have to comment on is how friendly and helpful the staff were. I'm sorry to say I didn't get their names, but this young couple were terrific. In an area which mainly caters for Austrian and German tourists, their English was excellent (we are from Scotland). They were able to assist us with planning our activities and helped with local knowledge, telephone calls, etc. The hotel itself seemed very new. Extremely clean and comfortable. Rooms were well-decorated with great beds! We had a nice balcony with a view over the mountains, which was great. The spa facilities are only open from 1500-1900. We would've liked them to be open longer, but understand that most people are in the area to ski and therefore they probably wouldn't get much use during the day. They were also very well looked after, clean and tidy. The food was plentiful and well-prepared. I have no complaints at all. I plan to go back to the area again, and would hopefully stay at this hotel then too.

  Lovely overnight in the alps

  Beautiful inn, family run, on the way through the alps. Perfect dinner (set menu) with lovely service. Many hikers relaxing after a long day and planning the next day's events. Clean, large well-appointed room. Great base for skiing-tons of storage in the room for gear. Sauna on-site. lovely breakfast buffet. Would have loved to stay another night.

  Relaxing atmosphere, good food and location, great pool

  It is a great place and you will enjoy all the amenities including the pool, sauna, steam room etc. We enjoyed dinner and look forward to tomorrow's breakfast. A good place to enjoy off season (quiet) both summer and winter. And everything is spotless, new, and functional.

  pure joy

  we like to return to the family Sohler's hotel, they spend effort to make one feel at home. The Sohlers keep their hotel developing but not disturbing its homey charm, the last addition being very cozy "Hallenbad"
