Breathtaking 4 Star Island Glamping ResortThis Island resort has breath-taking sky views featuring sun, sea and the natural environment. The island has great food from fresh fruit and vegetable salads to a warm meal at all meal times, excellent water based actvities like paddle boarding and kayaking and relaxing shaded pods. The glamping tents including 2-3 smartphone USB chargers stations , a lamp , air conditioning at night and other electrical features. The beds are small, cosy and have excellent memory foam mattress with a white duvet and a pillow. Smooth sleeping is guarnteeed afte a hard days relaxing. The glamlping tents are lockable with a key. The island has it own sea water pool for those that find the rocks and the metal ladder at the drift bar ocean bathing station difficult to nagviate. Water Shoes are need if you decide to go ocean bathing due to the rocks and pebbles on the beaches. The island has it own medical station. There is plently of shade if you just want to relax by the pool. Plus the Zen Den has great yoga and massages for those who need to remove stress. Overall the Island is great place to relax and get away. You do need to carry with you a water bottle, sunscreen and watershoes are a must.

Great Glamping, Not What was MarketedWe stayed here in August as a couple. Positives: - The island itself is beautiful. A truly magical place that we both fell in love with. - Forest Lodge was comfortable, clean, modern and perfect for a relaxing stay. - Breakfast Buffet had loads of options, healthy and treats. - Food/Restaurant quality of food was excellent. - Good value of money for the food and also treatments in spa. - Yoga platform is breathtaking. - Sunsets and star gazing are incredible. - Reception staff are super friendly. Negatives: - The concept of the island still needs refinement - wellness? family? relaxed music? - Not enough sunbeds. I went down at 9am-10am most days, all gone. - Programme of events isn't accurate - There was no 'island DJ', on any day. - Programme changed dramatically the week we left, even yoga went from twice to three times a day, stargazing every evening (our week had no evening activities). Tableclothes on the breakfast buffet tables. Made me think influencers were visiting. Also not consistent as we booked way back in Jan/Feb so felt a bit frustrated since paying the same and having no activities during our stay. - The island shops very basic - deodorant and chocolate at best. Bring things over from the main land - wine, beers, orange juice. That kinda stuff as there is a fridge in Lodge. - Three nights on the island was enough for us - we exhausted the food offering by then.

A beautiful, no-frills spot in the middle of paradiseI stayed at Obonjan Resort one night during my vacation to Croatia and absolutely loved the no-frills experience. We stayed in a sun lodge which was very clean and comfortable. The beach was a wonderful place to enjoy water activities and/or lounge. We rented stand-up paddle boards and enjoyed the resorts floats which were lots of fun. The convenience of the beach bar/restaurant was great. The only suggestion I would offer is improving the food selection. Their menu was limited and middle of the road. It also would have been nice to begin serving food at the beach restaurant after breakfast ends, so there is never a time guests are unable to access food. (There was a period between the end of breakfast and 2pm when food wasnt available.) That said, the rest of the experience was wonderful so it didnt ruin the trip, as we were were able to make up for it with excellent dining experiences in Sibenik, Split and Dubrovnik. Obonjan is a real haven and amazing escape from reality. Watching the sunset from a private spot on the opposite side of the island from the beach was so peaceful and a moment I'll remember forever!

100% Disappointing / over priced / watered down drinks / no people / lots of kids!Do not believe their insta. This strictly adults only island was full of kids! Our first morning at the pool there were no sun loungers as they were taken up by wedding guests with their push chairs and about 15 children. Headed to the beach area and that was full of families too. Their website says Adult only concept and the terms and conditions of our booking said no under 18s NO EXCEPTIONS. This is not true - it was a family resort. I realise maybe why they have let this rule slide, as there was hardly anyone else there and actually without all the families the place wouldve been empty. The island sleeps approx. 700 people, and there were 80 people when we first arrived, and about 25 when we left. According to the manager, the island is now for private hire/corporate events and not designed for holiday-makers. The restaurants are a huge rip off. £15 for a chicken breast....just the chicken thats it. £15 for a tomato and mozzarella starter. Drinks were watered down. We even asked if they added water to our margaritas and the bar man gave us a smile, and then agreed to open a new bottle of tequila so we could watch him pour our next drinks. Also where is the DJ? The pavilion was lights out and no one home. This is not an island for anyone wanting a mix of chill and cocktails as shown on their Insta. The pool was emptied on our 2nd day (mid July) for cleaning, and wasnt filled again while we were there. Where did it all go wrong? Everything is in place for this island to be epic. The views are beautiful, the forest lodges are lovely and have everything you need and the breakfast is amazing. The infrastructure is there for it to be a great party place. But is it being marketed properly? And to who? We were 3 girls looking for chilling in the day and djs in the evening. Chilling in the day check. Evening was spent in an overpriced below par restaurant, surrounded by children. We were in bed by 10pm every night. My advice DO NOT GO. Complete waste of money. They mis-sold the experience. We were so disappointed.

Corporate EventObonjan Island is a small island off Sibenik, approx 1 hour from Split. It is just lovely, you sleep in a mix of Lodges, tents and bell tents. It is a beautifully wooded island. I was there for a corporate event which was exceptionally well run and was great fun to participate in. We had all the necessary modern conveniences while enjoying beautiful natural surroundings
