  Muy bueno

  Excelente hotel al ladod e un lago, en un área tranquila. La habitación muy espaciosa, moderna. Desayuno muy bueno. Tiene buenas instalaciones deportivas, yo no las usé pero un compañero mío me habló muy bien de ellas.

  Once again a brilliant stay

  A great hotel, this time we had a ground floor room with a bath. Room was as last time quite large , mini fridge, overlooking the gardens. I wouldnt have a bath again, it was very small and access to shower over was very difficult, in fact I couldnt get out of the bath without help from my husband, but I am disabled, but still slightly mobile. Will have shower room next year. The whole hotel is accessible if you have,mobility problems, there is a lift and staff are wonderful. The breakfast is one of the best we have tasted with a tremendous variety. Stay here you wont be disappointed.

  Good hotel, close to a wellness and swimming pool

  The hotel is good; rooms are not too big and the bathroom could be considered by many as even too small. We stayed in half board and must say that the menues were not very inventive, a bit dull actually. Although the say that they mix between set menues and buffets, we had the whole week only set menues. The location is good, close to and in driving distance of hiking routes, the hotel is next to a wellness (sauna) and swimming pool complex which is free for guests.

  Great hotel, great service, super region,, not so good food

  Stayed in the Parkhotel with my gf for 4 nights. Had booked a royal book but decided to upgrade to the Egyptian room which as a lot bigger. Actually bedroom and living. Well equipped, clean and fun. Staff were really friendly and the room was kept tidy. Restaurant..different story. Breakfast was great. Wide variety of healthy and not so healthy food. Enjoyed it every morning. In the evening....the selection was blend, food to salty and after 1 night we decided to look around in the surrounding area. In the village not much but within a 15 km radius there were other restaurants but...again so much salt. What is it with the German restaurants, salt, meat, little or vegetarian dishes. A real shame. According to a friend in Trier there are a lot of good restaurants but hard to find apparently. The Saarland region is GREAT. So much to see, to do. Hiking, nature, suspension bridge to walk over, a big tower overlooking the Treetop path Saarschleife, The Mossel river, ruined, vineyards. We will visit the region more often.

  Well it was ok

  To start off I did not use the sauna facilities as this is just nothing for me. So I cant really judge that. The hotel was ok ... outer appearance is very beautiful as well as the location! In my point of view the price in relation to what you get is just not that good. The room was very tiny and rather old school. Perfectly clean but just not modern. More like at your parents house. The breakfast was pretty good 4-5 stars for that. The staff was good I cant complain but I wouldnt point something very special out. The pool is situated within a public facility which is also a part of the hotel. Nice but quite busy... All in all I personally wont come again but I also think I am not the right target group for this hotel!
