  Perfect for us!

  We were there last week. For us it was perfect! The apartament was great for 3 people, 2 air cond in each room. The sea view room worth the money. About all inclusive light, for us was exactlly what we needed, we always finded something that we liked.In the morning maybe they need to change a little, is the same everyday. For the fridge needed an extra pay..but in rest everything was perfect, we liket it. Great location, nice people, great food and wine included. Good job!

  perfect for a break between all the driving one does in Italy!

  This resort is on a cliff overlooking the ocean, very scenic. If you did not pay for an ocean front room, try asking for a room that ends in 01 or 02 as they stick out a bit and you will be able to see the ocean. We got lucky! The rooms are older but they are huge with a separate bed in the living area. There are air conditioners in both rooms and the shower was small but had a good strong shower stream. The balcony was very big also. There is a fridge but you have to pay an additional amount to have it turned on as electricity is so expensive in Italy. We did not bother. The buffet was quite good. We always found something good to eat and their risotto was amazing. The mains were limited but were very good. It is very hard to find an all inclusive in Italy so this was great. You did not have to go out into the crazy traffic every time you wanted to eat which made it all very relaxing. The alcohol is not included but we had wine with every meal and at the end of the three days it cost only about $12, so that was very inexpensive. No complaints!!! The pool is very nice overlooking the ocean and never seemed crowded. We always got a chair. We took the shuttle down to the beach where they have a private beach area for this hotel way to the right after you go down the steps. We were surprised to find huge boulders in the water so bring water shoes. You will need them. A shout out of thanks to the lovely young woman at reception when we checked in. We did not get there until nine o'clock at night and she gave us our wristbands and said to go to dinner as it was closing in half an hour and she wanted to make sure we got a meal. We thought we would end up get the dregs as it was so late but they were still bringing out fresh food which we snapped up! We then went back and finished our check in which was very fast. Thank you to that young lady. The only complaint that we would have was the constant very loud music at the pool. When are resorts going to understand that some of the time that is ok but not all the time. People want to lie by the pool and just relaxI In any case we would still recommend this resort. If you don't mind and older building then this is the place to go.

  ***Hotel , very good location.

  There are 5 hotel buildings and a restaurant & reception building. One of hotel buildings is placed very close a cliff above a seashore. The wiev from sea wiev rooms is amazing - the city of Tropea and Stromboli Island with an active volcano. There are a pool and 2 beaches; one official where you can get by a hotel bus (or 20 min. walk) and unofficial sandy beach close to the hotel. You need to have a cap to swimm in a pool. The restaurant service is very friendly, but menu could be more diverse. the cakes are a strong point of the menu. Hotel is about 40 min walk from Tropea or you can get there by train (it leaves once an hour). The rooms should be renovated, but they are big and clean. The towels are changed every second or third day. Thats a very good hotel for peaople who want to have a great wiev from hotel balcony, for families with children and a good place for travelling around by train.

  Amazing Hollidays

  Fantastic Hotel to a 3 stars. All the employees are kind and friendly. Good service. Fantastic swimming pool with an amazing views. A beach perfect with an amazing blue water in front of the hotel. Very near to Tropea. Much better than a lot of 5 star hotels. Fantastic animation team. They are simply the best. A place and a hotel one day I want return for sure.

  Beyond Disapointing

  NO INTERNET. RESTAURANT SUCKED. Was bad. Although it should be an apparthotel 'all included "light"' option. The receptionists didn't dominated english properly. Actually nearly noone did, not the recepcionist, not the restaurant, not the bar, the animation team did try... The appartament didn't have drinkable water. Actually it was only possible to get drinkable water without paying, in a filter on the swimming pool bar...not always open. Still any drink aside tap water or wine, you had to pay, didn't matter you had a AI, unless you trusted juices from not official marks that they served on glass from open bottles, you payed everything. They never replaced shampoo nor soap. Never. The room was outdated, and some forniture was falling appart. For the swimming pool you had to use a cap. It was mandatory. No exceptions. But full bearded guys, bald, with no cap was ok. About the internet, apparently it exists by the reception, where you can try to seat on some chairs, OUTSIDE, under the sun, and try to use the poor wifi connections, we tryed and never made it. As far as we knew, there was no connection in the appartments, at least for sure in our room. And the worst of all was the restaurant. The food was of really poor quality. Many times it was just pasta with tomato sauce, and pasta with something else and tomato sauce. Saw a "risotto" only twice in a week, and was disapointing. Very poor tasting. WORST OF ALL: it was very clear that they would adapt food from previous meals into the next meal like: salmon for dinner, lunch next day had this really big salmon salad! More than once the smell of the salad table proved the food wasn't good anymore! Many times there were cakes covered with creams, that were bad to eat because of the heat. The salad table was not refrigerated, and food went bad a lot. The breakfast was the same: the bread was always hard as a rock, the milk went bad and smelled because it was not refrigerated, yogurts did too. For fried foods, they were clearly low quality bought, like those you buy on supermarket, not for restaurant level, yet were the 'best' part of all.
