  Good if you have own transport

  We were on a tour and this was the hotel we stayed at. Unfortunately although we went to Bridge over River Kwai in morning we were not there for long. We had intended to return ourselves after dropped off in hotel but only transportation available were push bikes and our guide suggested we didn't venture back out. I guess in case we got lost or had trouble on bikes, as it was approx 8 min drive by car. This was hugely disappointing for me. The hotel itself however was clean and staff friendly. Wifi was available in rooms. Location is out in the 'jungle' so at night lots of mosquitos to contend with.

  I wouldn't recommend

  The hotel is massive, but it is very out of the way from tourist attractions. The bed was rock hard and the room itself was quite dirty - it left a lot to be desired. The breakfast however was pretty good and I can't complain about that but I would recommend a different hotel when visiting Kanchanaburi.

  An older Gem of a find!

  I loved this property. It is older but well maintained. The staff was awesome. The room was clean but its a Thai style property. The wife and kids loved the location and activities. The wife thought it was a bit high priced for Thailand. They offer several activities, Bike, buggies, archery, I saw a gun range sign, I saw a fishing sign, a rock climbing station, big pool with a kids pool with slides, etc, a small wildlife area, and a large garden pond. The property is big and you can roam around under the shade. For us a family with small children it was great. They have river access with activities we didn't get to the river due to children. If in area this is a great choice.

  Only thing which was positive that it was clean

  The hotel is very old! The rooms are clean although bed is very hard, airco lousy, the shower is very bad extremely hot or cold! WiFi is not working in the room or at the pool. The hotel has about 100 rooms and at the moment we were there only 25 guests were there. You think only we are so stupid to book this. Please find a better place to stay. We eat outside at Loft at the River Side Bridge which was very good although it is rather expensive for Thai restaurants.

  Spacious hotel, large and clean rooms

  This hotel is very remote, situated in a green and quiet area . Good but noisy airco, clean and large rooms with terrace. The dinner was excellent. Staff is rather reserved. Quality/price OK. Breakfast was basic. A good place to take a break.
