  Honest Housekeeper

  I left my brand new. My Pillow by mistake and housekeeping turned it in. I called half way home and they shipped it to me. New motel in nice area One new restaurant within walking distance A good place to stay for the money will stay there again when in the area

  Check-in clerk was wonderful and friendly. The room is very large and well furnished. My biggest problem is the awful pungent smell. They seem to have sprayed the air con/heater unit with some kind of super fragrance. I had to wear a surgical mask to help me somewhat cope. The odor is suffocating. Then there is the extreme noise from the interstate. It is non-stop. I will not stay there again.

  The best value of our trip to the mid-west

  We stayed in room 310. This is a no pet facility, which we appreciated. Hard to picture sleeping in a bed that a 40 or 80 lb dog was most likely in. It was the best value for the money during our 10 day trip, at $80 for a King bed. We would stay here again. Close to restaurants if you don't want to get on the highway.

  Pet free!!!

  My favorite thing about this brand is their pet free policy. Dog worship culture has gotten out of control and I do NOT want to have a room where a smelly dog has been. The front desk agent was very friendly, but no one was wearing masks. The water pressure in the shower was great. Had no trouble with the wifi. There is a marshy area next to the hotel that had a lot of birds which was neat. However, it also had a lot of mosquitoes over there. There was a horrible screaming child around 11PM, but other than that it was quiet all night. Didn't hear any noise from the freeway. Fridge and AC worked just fine.

  Bugs.

  Dirty. The picture shows a bug I saw this morning as we were packing to leave. The bed had a huge sag in the middle that hurt my back. The carpeting is gross and has never been cleaned. Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS!!!! The clerk was nice. The shower had good pressure.
